What a disgustingly good card in control match-ups. :)
The NEW patron deck already proves how strong something that fills your board with 3/3 minions can be. Which usually involves a lot or cards ,combination pieces and a lot of mana involved. Sometimes it can take up as much as 10 mana as well to fill the board but now there is a single card that does it for you. An expensive turn, but 21/21 worth of stats for 10 mana is stronger than anything else that's in the game.
A crazy card indeed, it'll see play for sure in control decks.
This card is essentially a 21/21 for 10 mana spread across 7 bodies. This would be broken as fuck if Aoe did not exist.
And even if it did, you are forced to save your 3+ damage Aoe, because if this artifact is used and you dont have Aoe on hand, you lose. The opponent might not even have Arch-Thief Rafaam in their deck, but you lose if this comes and you dident save your Aoe, so you risk losing.
