The spell damage type functionally makes neutral cards like this dual class cards. Shadow is Warlock/Priest, Holy is Priest/Paladin, Nature may have some carry over with Shaman/Druid primarily but Hunter and Rogue may have some cards, Frost is Shaman/Mage, Fire is Mage/Warlock with maybe some Shaman, Arcane is Mage/Druid.
De facto paladin class card, at least until the end of the Year of the Gryphon. There's no way any class but Paladin or Priest gets enough Holy spells to matter, and in Priest this card can't hold a candle to Lightsteed.

I remember watching Zetalot playing Hooded Acolyte on a non C'thun deck back in the day.
HS changed a lot since that time, but this card is such an improvement over it... i think it will see play.
