- You can get ANY spell from your opponent's class, it doesn't need to be in their deck.
Battlecry: Add 2 random spells to your hand (from your opponent's class).
They call him "Blackwing" because he's a black dragon...... and he's got wings.

you can also get garbage like totamic might or blade flurry(with a non wep class)
i like this card, will be testing it alot
I just went through the card book, looking through every class's spells and the only class that has worthless spells is rogue. Every spell in the game has balanced value pertaining to its mana cost. Even moonfire. The reason why people think cards like moonfire are bad is because they don't fit into any decks. IE people dont run them because they dont have enough room in their deck to fit them. The only spells in the game that dont out value their mana cost are stuff like totemic might, mind games, and blessed champion. There are no such things as "bad spells" there are just spells that people cant fit in their deck because they dont fit the theme. If you get them for free anyway with this card, they get all their value without having to take up a card slot in your deck. The chances of getting something crappy like totemic might are almost the same as getting something like doomsayer from a shredder. Imagine being a mage then going against this card, guess what. You now have to play around flamestrike the entire game. Or better yet, polymorph or pyroblast. And if youre a warlock, you can instantly lose the game from your opponent getting sacrificial pact because every single warlock deck runs at least 1 demon at 5 or more mana and your opponent can kill it literally for free and gain 5 hp. I guarantee you control warriors are going to run this card over sneed's old shredder as well as a number of decks
I've seen people go full retard on this site before, but you really took the cake with this one.
i want to start with saying Dr. Boom is an amazing card there are many games where i can get him out turn 3 with my druid and its devastating, and secondly think of it like your drawing 2 cards to help with your tempo with the plus of having that 8/8 presence on the board this card will definitely be going in my ram druid witch so far has gotten me to rank 14 in 1 1/2 hours of laddering and if you don't like rng THEN DON'T PLAY THIS GAME its all rng based and sometimes you'll get screwed but he is still an 8/8 and will get 2 spells Nefarian will be viable card to play with in certain decks
Dr boom is crazy, but you cant really compare him with nefarion. The 2 cards work completely differently. Dr boom is just a stupid card that can be in any deck and is always ridiculous, but nefarion is meant for more control oriented decks like warrior. If BRM successfully impacts the metagame, then the meta will slow down a bit considering most dragons are high mana cost. When the meta's slower, youll see more cards like ysera and nefarion used. People already run Sneed's old shredder in a lot of control decks right now and imo, the only thing sneeds has over nefarion is that it's not bgh able. But sneed's usually gets silenced and theres a lot of bad legendaries you can get from it. Nefarion gets value the turn it's played. I would easily choose nefarion over sneeds if I played control warrior. Like I said, there are very little worthless spells, and there are tons like blizzard, frostbolt, execute, hunter's mark, consecrate, lay on hands, shadow word death, and etc that you can get that have super value. What I really really hate about this card is that theres no way to play around it. Before this card, I thought thoughtsteal had the worst design in the game because of how much luck and RNG was involved and that you CANT PLAY AROUND IT. But at least thoughtsteal gives your opponents cards that you know are in your deck. This will almost always give control warrior ANOTHER removal
r u talking to me freeloadermc?
This card will be good if you get 2 spell cards which have reduced cost to 0 mana :)
That would be a bit over the top. 2x 0 mana pyroblast? I don't quite think so
Every deck deserves a Sneed's Old Shredder and a Nefarian. :)
I don't get why people are comparing the effect of this card with Thoughtsteal. It's totally diferent.
When you steal a card from your opponents deck, it will be probably a useful card, because it worth a spot in your opponent's deck.
Nefarian is just too random and besides the fact that are more useless spells than useful ones, 9 mana for a 8/8 is terrible..
So sad.. I was expecting something better.
@Elmo
Are you being stupid on purpose?
It says from your opponents class not your opponents deck.
Dude this says you get two random spells from that class, meaning you could get any spell that class could conceivably cast not just ones they have in their deck.
Actually a Sacrificial Pact against a warlock would be AMAZING. You can destroy his minion (or Jaraxxus) and gain 5 health, all for 0 mana.
If you get sacrificial pact from a warlock with juraxus its GG for the warlock ...
But...that is what he is saying. Unless you think he is asserting there are tons of Warlocks running around with Sacrificial Pact.
@karolmo: Sacrificial pact against Jaraxxus? As in, an instant win?
@Elmo1191: "Add 2 random spells to your hand (from your opponent's class)" - not deck!
Pint-Sized Summoner value
I think it's quite comparable to Ysera. Ysera is a slower card with less "instant" payoff. You usually only get one card anyways. It's a faster Ysera with a weaker body. It might be good in Paladin in my opinion because Paladin suffers from the same card draw problem as shaman and they definitely run Neptulon to make up for it. I'd say they are about on par Neptulon and Nefarion 2- less cards but I think of on average higher quality and nefarion is technically 1 mana cheaper due to overload. Then again it might be a little too slow but I think in the right midrange or control decks it will be a good card. I love the design of the Dragon Synergy cards in general because even when the game is too close to have a chance to play him out you gain value just by having a dragon in hand so it's never quite a "dead" card and an amazing topdeck because of immediate payoff. Ysera is also a good topdeck but only when your opponent is also topdecking. if your opponent has stuff in hand and you play ysera it'll get sapped or whatever and you'll die but at least nefarion gives you two spells to regain any tempo loss instead of just one.
If you look at him as a 6 mana 8/8 with a free thoughsteal (and saving a card slot) then I think he is a strong card. I can see it definitely getting play in priest. Maybe even paladin who struggle to get through the final section of a hero's health.
Like this card, however it is not immediately impactful because you need to cast the spell depending on its cost and situation. Looking at spells in their respective classes I can see some pretty bad whiffs. Could possibly become a great catch up card depending on the state of the game and what your spell pool is in the match up. Really fun card going to be adding to my Randuin deck and the dragon synergy is a plus. :D
