Posted Mar 25, 2023 (March of the Lich King)To be fair to them they announced this on, I think Thursday, just as a patch went out and the Core set hype and chat was going on. We did not make an article about it then, because it felt like it would get lost in the other hype.
They have a tendency to drop stuff like this when it is already a news overload, so when that happens we typically post it on the day of or on the day before and do a tweet when the post goes live on Hpwn AND when the event starts.
It's not ideal, but there's not really a much better solution either. Often Blizz is tied to doing these huge info drops because they all tie in together and dropping one of the news items spoils the others. (not really the case here, but in general)
