The fact that you have to play it at the end of the turn makes it a bit mid. it's like tempo-wasting 2 mana each turn.
This is definitely a 6/10 card. It is useful in control matchups, but it's not gonna be good against aggro in most cases.
So it really depends how much aggro we get this rotation.
This Is Leggendary,
Palm Reading Is rare,
The other fukgn one that Discovery 6 cards of opponents, rare too......
When Will Mage welcome powerful cards? I play since beta and Hearthstone staff does really like Priest.
Edit: what about Ragnaros new 6 Mana card? Unblvbl
EDIT2: for those Who have disliked my comment, i Just want to let you know im arguing about WILD EXPERIENCE, not standard Easy-to-use.
Classes are NOT balanced.
The game is not balanced around Wild. Wild is meant to be this crazy graveyard of all the powerful cards and combos of all time. There are wild balance changes once in a while... but new cards won't make as much impact in wild as they do in Standard. And I think for standard, this card is pretty sweet.
I love how you described Wild mode (:P) and i totally agree with your statement bout balances....
But as far as i see, my comment has been read totally negatively...
I was pointing out that Mage class cards are weaker and weaker every year... I've Just played Mage, because is my "crush" ❤️, since beta version of HS.
Completing my post, I want to underline that _I DO REALLY LIKE_ this new Legendary, but It could have been rare or Epic, compared to other classes' cards!
I don't think any deck besides Control Mage going to want this card. It is quite bad when you discover only one card with it. Kinda meh when you discover two cards with it. Okay when you discover 3 or more.
I dont think this needed the Finale tag. I dont think this is THAT strong and needing exact mana makes it somewhat weak.
It's a lot of value (potentially) but it's not a lot of useful value. I don't see this getting played, but even if it does, I think it will end up being played to discover a card for now rather than being kept for the Finale.
I'm not sure you can afforf to float 2 mana on multiple turns just for value.
This is the type of card that control decks love. You can dedicate 27 cards to beating agro, and then just add a package of this + Romath + another card to win a pretty big number of control matchups.
Slow for wild but might see some play in quest MAGE.. defo worth a try
If it had the arcane tag then maybe we might have something here but tagless its clunky and slow for (in theory) infinite delayed value.
Ah, 2 Big Mage Legendaries this expansion.
This is strong, but also solves one of the main problems I have with the "Discover an answer rather than have to actually include one" state that Hearthstone has devolved into. You can't really discover answers on demand because you can't use the spell in the same turn. To discover and use an answer, you have to give up on getting more value from this.
Not bad. With Wildfire and powerful pings rotating, Mage will more often need something to do with spare mana. This can really help smooth out your curve, and if you know you will need something such as a polymorph, you can fish for it every turn.
I think even with having to use it as a last card, it's still a lot of fuel for the whole game.
Just pick whatever you know you will need in the future and you can pretty much out value the oponent over time.
Also, I don't believe there won't be synergy in a few new cards, making this even better.
I think its not like a board reaction card but u supposed to play it with DJ manastorm to discover high cost spells and then reduce their mana cost.
Feels like a second Hero Power you keep in your hand.
Since we’ve seen Millhouse himself, he does let this finale for free (although you definitely have better spells to play alongside him then this)
If you can get a few big cards from this the Millhouse pop off could be more consistent. Not broken overall though.
Isn’t millhouse reducing the spells in the hand with a battlecry? Spells discovered from this legendary spells shouldn’t cost less, if not 1 more.
Are people just having a really hard time reading? This card goes back to your hand at the end of turn, you don't discover at the end of turn.
