Pre-Release Weekend
You can open your Pre-Purchase packs early at a private pre-release Fireside Gathering the weekend before Murder at Castle Nathria goes live on August 2. Private pre-release Fireside Gatherings can take place between July 29 at 10 am (PT) and August 1 at 10 am (PT). In the event that you should open them in your pre-release packs, Murloc Holmes and Golden copies of Sire Denathrius will be eligible for full dust refunds until August 5, at 10am (PT).
Head over to FiresideGatherings.com to register your private event!
In light of the ongoing health risk associated with in-person gatherings, the ability to create public events is still disabled.
Private Fireside Gatherings will:
- Be eligible to receive Nemsy Necrofizzle if they fulfill all hosting prerequisites. This means having an established Tavern. Learn more about establishing your Tavern here.
- Be eligible for the Fireside Gatherings card back.
- Allow event listing creation the same day as the event is meant to be hosted.
- Have the same Fireside Brawls as public Fireside Gatherings.
- Be visible on the website only to the innkeeper hosting it. The Fireside Gathering itself will be visible in the game client and participants will be able to search for it and find it in the client as well.
Private Fireside Gatherings will NOT:
- Be visible on Tavern or upcoming event pages.
- Show up in the search function on the upcoming events page.
- Count towards any Tavern or Innkeeper progression. They will not count towards establishing your Tavern. You will still need to host public events in the future as part of establishing your Tavern.

The stream today was painful, and I'm not talking about the content. I thought I was on time for drops because I got on 15 minutes after it started, and the drop campaign was set to last 2 hours according to Twitch.
The stream lasted 44 minutes, not the listed 2 hours. I missed drops by 1 minute.
Would be nice if Blizzard give everyone access to all cards for a weekend in some event or server
enter stream, mute then minimize... 2 packs earned
Kripp isn't even a HS player...for quite a while now.
Guess if the moneh is good, goofying around is still a viable additional source of income
Trump better be that Mystery Participant...
The effort he put into those videos of his earns him the spot.
One thing that still kinda bothers me is how public gatherings are still disabled after like 3 years.
Imagine as they already changed some cards during reveals, they do this theyorycraft and playtest with streamers to nerf new cards before we open them to not hand out any dust.
Please re-read your answer. What is the point in theorycrafting without knowing the whole set. So od you think about that the last card dump will ne before the cringe streams.
Literally no one would watch if there were no drops.
Oh it's that special time when streamers ruin the game for everyone, just so Blizzard make a little bit more money, yay, can't wait !
I guess some people like it, not everyone cares about experimenting. Sucks for the rest of us though. Expansion launches were just better when theorycrafting livestreams simply didn't exist imo, much more enjoyable for much longer.
Theorycrafting is playtesting also. Do you think the game is better without playtesting? I mean, we already have so very little. Do you think is wise to not have ANY?
And also, I've never seen decks in theorycrafting streams become meta. Probably I'm forgetting some, but most of them tend to suck ass due to the restriction of forcefully needing 10 cards of the new expansion.
Before theorycrafting streams, usually meta in the first week was exactly the same than the previous one, all folks waiting for some pro's tweet of an specific deck is broken. Do you really think that's good? Because I think it sucks. I usually tend to test random shit and have fun, but it seems most of the people only care about netdecking. These streams give new flashy decks for netdeckers. That's good.
Can you extend a little bit why do you think these streams are bad? Because I just can't think any reason.
quest mage and quest warlock were great in theory testing. they didnt get nerved back then and they ended up dominating the meta.
Ok, I'll give you that. But that wasn't a problem with theorycrafting but with balance team lol. Sooner or later people was going to realize those cards were broken af. But, was it something good? At least it happened quicker, and thus, nerfs started before.
In any case, that expansion sucked. Don't think that's a problem of theorycrafts, as I said, but with the whole expansion and balance team.
Can't think other case of all where theorycrafted decks shined that much from the start.
Maybe they should pay people to playtest before the expansion goes live? You know, they used to do that, before Activision and Blizzard started treating the QA teams like trash?
What kind of idiot are you fjl93 to think they wait for the livestreams to playtest the expansion ? Are you trolling ? Do you have any evidence for your claim that there is "so very little" playtesting ? Gigantic dumb ass, they spend more time playtesting cards than making them, you clearly have no clue (and no respect) how card games are made.
First of all, I know you may be having a bad time and reflect your anger and sadness with strangers in internet. But you should know it’s bad and won’t fix anything.
Second, MTG has internal events were pros test sets. Hearthstone didn’t had that until theorycraftings. Although game designers can be good at the game, they are miles against a pro player like NoHands, HabuGabu, etc…
Third, Iksar confirmed on one of his Q&A that few years ago the team that tested was consisted of only TWO people. I don’t think this increased a lot IMO, given the constant balance issues HS has.
I hope your life gets better, and I really advice you to go to therapy and talk with someone about that anger. It’s bad for you.
Hugs homie.
Sooooo is Dr. Watfin going to be a card also? That would be pretty dope of Team 5.
Folllow your favorite streamers as they act out the murder at castle nathria with kripparian as sire denathrius and special guests…
This has potential to be the cringiest thing hearthstone has ever done. There is no way this goes as well as they are hoping.
Why is Kripp there again? Are they playing Battlegrounds?
