This card should have the same cost, it should give the same weapon but it should have this hero power: 2 mana "Deal 2 damage. Gain 2 Armor. Honorable Kill: Gain 2 Armor."
Perhaps the hero himself should provide 7 armor.
Please take this buff in consideration.
I don't think people are paying attention to how dangerous this card can be. Basically, the weapon is a massive punish for any player believing that a huge ass taunt is going to bail them out. Or anything else big for that matter. This card basically will be used to help dish out lethal.
True, however it is too situational and not versatile ... (not to mention the hero power quite irrelevant, in the vast majority of cases you will use it as the hunter's hero power) it seems more aggro oriented than control...
Why is it irrelevant? If you run this hero in Pirate Warrior, it is always an extra damage to the face, smash the taunt minion to the face, and the original hero power is actually more irrelevant.
I don't think you play this in a pirate warrior just to hit a taunt... (also you can't play the quest, otherwise your weapon will last just one turn, I don't see much synergy in that)
A Midrange/Control version of Pirate Warrior would love it.
Futhermore in this meta otk, many classes don't even play minions (this doesn't help this card to shine) I don't know, we'll see which way will go this meta...
Compared to the other hero cards? Very Underwhelming yet on the more costly side as well.
Really simple card. For 2 mana more than Arcanite Reaper (which sometimes saw occasional play in aggro warrior, depending on the quality of the rest of the weapons available), you get a better weapon and switch Armor Up (often useless if you're the aggressor) into a better version of the Hunter hero power.
Meanwhile, there's no complicated set-up, there's no changes you need to make to a deck to run this. Just find a card slot and smash. Maybe it doesn't make the cut, but as a simple card that isn't archetype defining, it doesn't look terrible.
I just don't like it, this feels so damn underwhelming compared to the other Herocards, also it should be less than 7 Mana if it doesn't have any game swinging potential (which it just doesn't)
Overcosted and very disappointing.
Yea, wish it would be 6 mana so I could run it in even Captain 9/9 Charge deck.
I think this card is not bad at all in a control warrior and that it can be quite annoying.
The weapon obtained, together with the new minion with 9 attack and charge, can be a good finisher for a warrior.
The new hero power can also contribute to the offensive ability for control warriors to finish the game.
In addition, the new hero power is very versatile and pairs perfectly with lord barov, to clean the board cleanly and earn 4 armor for only 5 mana. It is also a tool for damaging enemy minions, so that for 5 mana, with the new spell it is possible to execute a damaged enemy minion and freeze the board.
This is my opinion, who knows more put it in the comments.
Honorable Kill only works if the minion has the exact same health, so no armour gain as Lord Barov changes Health to 1. It is still a nice board clear.
Unless you hit Lord Barov.
So the minion hits the enemy hero? That's.. interesting.
Lots of new mechanical interactions in this set.
I do think that based on the power level of this effect it could be cheaper in cost, but... it all depends on how it works in action. I feel like this is a good card for an aggressive weapon warrior deck - the hero power can go face, too... so they have more reach.
It would be a lot cooler if it were 'Unstoppable Force: Your hero can dual-wield. Emotes 'I'm the Juggernaut, @#$%^!' when attack.
Not the best hero card, but not the worst either.
Im pretty sure this one-shots minions by smashing em to the face (similarly to hunt cannon leg).
In that vein I think its pretty good, especially in a heavy minion meta.
Good. Enough OP shit for Warrior and Mage.
It's interesting, but seriously looks like there is MAJOR imbalance between the hero cards right now. But I guess the stupid OP ones will perhaps get nerfed in the first wave if they are as crazy as they seem.
