"last chance to pre-order your pay-to-win-service let's goooooo"
Funny to read peopels complain about this mod adv. ....when they said in one of the few videos that will be hard to make a lot of adv. with all the...you know "covid problems"
LOL! Blizz will be lucky if this mode does not flop.
Why do they label as 'rare' the most common tier of merc? There's no rarity if is the basic drop.
Because the common thing in merc are the coins
Haters gonna hate, ainters gonna ain't.
And a downvote you gonna take.
I really wish they had explained this a month ago. It seems like they did the reveal in the wrong order. The complex stuff first then the basic stuff last.
It always feels like Hearthstone's PR department is an empty chair and a half-eaten bag of doritos.
That's probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said about their PR department :P
You're very kind.
What happens to excess coins? Will it become dust
This is also what I would like to understand. Is it possibile that Blizzard is practically selling coins and we don't know in detail what will happen once a character is full of these coins?
There's no dust, but you're talking about like... a couple of hundred coins.
Math seems not your topic my friend. We are not talking about a couple of hundred coins but a potential infinite amount. If you open packs and you can find characters already full coins the amount is potentially infinite, so your loss.
The issue is big because you can get stuck in opening packs and finding characters already full if:
1) There is no duplicate protection
2) You can find coins of characters already full
But Blizz should explain these things if they want the pre-purchase.
I'm saying it's going to take a while to max out your coins on a character. It's not really an imminent concern. I imagine either once you have the max number of coins needed it either won't offer you any more or you can save them for when they inevitably raise the rank cap.
It is an imminent concern if you are interested in pre-purchase. I don't know you but I want to know what I am buying.
Like now I only know that inside the pre-purchase there are coins. Good to know. Then? How can I use these coins once my characters or one character Is/are full?
But the point of the coins is to use them to upgrade your mercenaries. Why are you concerned about what to do with them once they're fully upgraded when you haven't fully upgraded them?
If eventually you fill them up; which is going to probably take *months* to get *everything* (it's almost 3000 coins to fully upgrade a merc including all the equipment) then the only way it'll be a problem is if there's *nothing* to do with them. Which I doubt there will be.
Should we know? Probably. But I don't think it's that important personally.
I don't know why it is so difficult to understand that consumers generally want to know what they are purchasing.
I don't understand why you are supposing things without knowing them.
Like, I get why it's important to you, but it's really not that important to me. I know what I'm purchasing and what the coins are for. I'm concerned about upgrading my mercs in a timely fashion and how long that's going to take. Which I think is WAY more important than what coins do once a merc is fully upgraded.
I highly doubt Blizzard is going to be stupid enough to just let us sit on piles of coins that don't do anything, and if they're not worth it I have faith that the community will whine so incessantly and so loudly that Blizzard will do something about it.
You don't know what you are purchasing.
You can open packs and find coins for. the same merc even when you are full. Blizz didn't explained this. That's the issue. Is it not relevant for you? Good to know and better that now you know it because if you made the pre-order and it is in this way you can burn coins simply because you didn't know it.
