This week's brawl is Brawl Block: Tinyfin Mode!
Rules:
Construct a deck using ONLY basic, common and rare cards!
Rewards:
A Classic Card Pack for winning the Brawl once.
If you have a great deck for this brawl, create it in our deckbuilder, and share it with the world! Just make sure to label the Deck Type as a "Tavern Brawl" while saving and it might show up on the front page!
Got one win w/ handbuff mech paladin, then another with token druid just for fun. There are actually quite a few viable paths, it's not a bad Brawl. My wife, who is new to the game, was pretty much forced to play DH, as all the relevant cards are recent.
I like the idea of a ''non-P2W'' game mode, but it always comes down to aggro which are already cheap to begin with.
1st game win with a Priest revival deck
Demon hunter seemed broken here. Their commons and rares are just at a very high power level
Except demon hunter isn’t very good in wild, and there is access to wild cards, so any demon hunter I faced I destroyed.
Most rogues went the stealth route that I encountered. I been tearing it up with self sharpening sword rogue though lol. Basically kingsbane rogue... but a bit worse lol.
Secret hunter is good for this brawl. Went 6-0 so far
Yep, solid brawl. I played secret Hunter
this was fun can i post gameplay
Did well with aggro paladin and it was fun overall.
I went with an aggro elemental burn Mage, and cleaned up 5 wins in 5 games for my Weekly. Now I remember why Ice Lance got HoF'd in the first place. An absurd amount of burst, especially on the turns when Imprisoned Phoenix wakes up.
This week's Tavern Brawl goes to daring lengths and breaks new grounds by putting us in the shoes of a free-to-play account.
Plenty of aggro for good old Dragon Priest to feast on.
Limitation =/= creativity.
Lots of good ranked mode decks where you can just take out epics and legendaries and still be really good.
I like the Brawls that are really different and make the game very unique compared to standard ranked play, so this wasn't that fun.
Isn't face hunter and aggro rogue just this atm?
Edit: Yup. Brawl is just aggro rogue, face hunter, and secret mage.
Hearthstone players are well known for their creativity and imagination.
I get the sarcastic joke.
To be fair, tavern brawls turn out to become solved metas just by mimicking a good opponent's deck since people want to get their quests done quickly
Ah, so exactly how I build my decks for ranked...
Good luck everyone
wild mode right?
