Since Baku has no problem with Prince Malchezaar, this gonna work well with Genn, as long as they code them constantly lol.
Fair point.
why would you give it a 4/4 you can give it a silver hand recruit/lackey/totem or even use it as a neutral treachery and give them a minion with a negative effect. this + that mummy that lowers your card costs could make a possible combo
He's talking about if you had an empty board, or "worst case scenario." Obviously it's better to feed your opponent a trash token.
Don't know if I agree with that. Cthun makes your deck worse. We don't know what the wheel does. Nzoth you have to play mixed minions and they all need to be taunt, charge or rush. Ysharj is a value generator... Maybe priest.
3 of the Old gods can go to any non-aggro deck without thinking lol
Do the pieces of C’Thun count as duplicates ?
(can’t watch the stream)
My guess would be no since they have different names.
They have different names so no
I'm talking about the "30 pieces" C'Thun breaks into at the start of the game. Maybe it was clear in the video? I'll check tomorrow.
Right, I can’t read :)
I had a glimpse on my bike and thought that once you collected 4 out of 30 pieces you got to activate one of the four spells (kinda like soil fragments). But adding 30 cards to your deck would be... madness ;)
What were the options on Yogg's wheel?
Five options have a 19% chance each:
Hand of Fate: Fill your hand with random spells. They cost 0 this turn.
Curse of Flesh: Fill the board with random minions, then give yours Rush.
Mindflayer Goggles: Take control of three random enemy minions.
Mysterybox: Cast a random spell for every spell you've cast this game (targets chosen randomly). (The usual Yogg effect.)
Devouring Hunger: Destroy all other minions. Gain their attack and health.
Then there's one option with a 5% chance:
Rod of Roasting: Cast 'Pyroblast' randomly until a player dies.
idk but the pyroblast till the games over is pretty sick if you 1 of a blur into your deck lol
Wins*
I didn’t know i am gonna say this, but i am crafting that golden Cthun.
Oh no, we're all gonna be rolled over by the hype train. This is madness.
I like how Old God's card artworks are even more creepy than previous versions. Its like suggestion that Darkmoon Faire is more evil/dark theme than Whispers of the Old Gods.
I'm amazed by people complaining about RNG with a game which mainly focuses on RNG since ALWAYS.
Because there's different kinds of rng. There's a difference between drawing cards from your deck and yogg, flipping a coin, calling it, and deciding the game. The first one gets players to know what they can draw, what their opponent can draw, play to their outs, and adapt as things change. Yogg, Puzzle Box, and Solarion prime are just table flips. There's no input, there's no playing around them. They just randomly decide who gets to win.
There's people who play decks like egg warrior or libram paladin that don't rely on those sorts of effects. They want to feel like their decisions matter, and these cards just erase any impact those decisions might've had. I'm sure there's mage players who feel the same way, but they also want to give themselves their best chance at winning, and new Yogg looks too good to not run.
Just because these aren't the first cards like this doesn't mean they're good additions. It doesn't mean there aren't players who dislike their impact on the game, but enjoy the other parts enough to keep playing. Those players have a right to complain.
