This week's brawl is Pick a Hand, Any Hand!
This is a replacement Brawl, due to issues with the original Brawl for this week, Road to Northrend.
Quote from BlizzardWe’ve temporarily disabled the Road to Northrend tavern brawl to address some issues, and swapped in Pick a Hand, Any Hand for this week's brawl.
We expect to have the Road to Northrend brawl back online next week.
Rules:
Pick the first seven cards of your deck, and we'll fill the rest with Unstable Portals. You get your portals AFTER your mulligan.
Rewards:
If you didn't register a win in the original Brawl, you will receive 1 Classic Pack. Players that already received a pack from the original Brawl, will not be granted a 2nd pack.
Have a really strong deck for this Brawl? Build it in our Deckbuilder and add a good guide, then mark it as a Tavern Brawl deck for the current Brawl while saving and share it with the world!
do you get additional reward for completing the run?
nope..
Small indie company!
I can tell you that if you did manage to get to Northrend successfully yesterday (despite Reno's ineptitude), you aren't getting another card pack this brawl.
Another Brawl being disabled, and another Brawl I couldn't try myself because of that.
Kinda annoying tbh and a really disappointing trend atm by Blizzard.
PS: I know it's coming back next week, but it this sloppy behavious from Blizzard's side still kinda sucks.
I guess after losing or firing, I don't know, this guy from the Brawl Team the other day they have exactly 0 people left to test their new Brawls. :/
It doesn't make people feel better, but trust me, you weren't missing much with the other brawl - just another dungeon run, that's almost a carbon copy of Tombs of Terror.
I've really enjoyed enjoyed the roguelike dungeon format since K&C, but after 2 and a bit years of it they really need to freshen it up, if not try something entirely different.
Lucky for us, the upcoming Adventure isn't the "Dungeon Run" style we've seen the past few years. They went back to the more linear style of previous Adventures. :)
Awesome! :-) I have enjoyed dungeon runs, but yeah, they haven't been innovated enough to keep them from feeling a bit stale. The Boomsday Puzzles were nice, and I always enjoyed the old school "here's a boss, design a deck to beat them" format, so hopefully they keep mixing things up. I think one dungeon run a year is probably a good amount.
At least they added some lore to Tak Nozwhisker. Not sure if I'm the only, but I always thought that a random Kobold that didn't have anything special didn't deserve the legendary treatment. Not that this brawl changed that a lot, but at least he appeared...
Anyone know the issiue with orginal brawl? Finished it with each class and havent noticed anything weird
The game was crashing for some people if they lost to a boss and Aviator Bob showed up. I played several times with all the heroes and didn't have an issue. Even if Bob showed up.
