I always thought leeroy summoned 2 chickens. Damn.
if you play leeroy then you can guarantee your opponent has a dragon on board , just a thought :P
hello !
The issue with the amount of power creep they have in this expansion - even with the counter cards - is that, even though they've intentionally left it til the last expansion of the year (so it's in standard for 'as little as possible') - it's still in the game for about 14-15 months. That's a huge amount of time to be in there, and it means that any cards released next year are either going to have to be super strong, really relevant tech cards, or they just won't see play because we'll still be using DoD cards.
But beyond that, wild is a thing, and it now threatens to be swarmed with DoD archetypes despite the fact that standard will also feature these archetypes.
The average power level of cards being revealed makes this seem like not just a meta-changing, but game-changing set.
Do you think they can not nerf half of the set?
How do you prefear your dragon poached or scrumbled? Panfried please
so i guess its to time to play treant druid :D,so playing dragons before turn 5 will be risky,4 manna is to low.
nice 5/5 rating for me
If dragon decks work out this will be a pretty good tech card against it.
This will go NUTS on day 1
Seems like a much better anti-Dragon tech than Dragonslayer. And since all classes get Dragons this expansion, this could find its place.
Quest Shaman will have 12/12 rush minions for 4 mana? Wow...
Quest Shaman is the most popular deck so I guess nobody will use dragons.
Blizzard killed the expansion with this card...
If Quest Shaman is a problem, it will get a nerf a few weeks into the expansion. That's how they've been doing it lately.
Within a few weeks...lol
Never said it was ideal. But at least we can expect them to do SOMETHING.
I think it would be great if they did, but Blizzard are famous for quick balance changes at all. No matter how much the community in general or pro's are telling things are unbalanced, its takes Blizzard so long time to react.
I mean 1st (after a few weeks they will say something like, we need more data), then they'll start figuring out what the nerfs should be, and then some play testing, I would say if they are fast mid january. If they are slow some time feb. anything later, would lead them to say something we got a new expansion / rotation / Hall of fame, leading them back doing nothing.
Blizzard doing something about a broken card LOL
A problematic card can be split into 3 types:
They prefer to avoid the 3rd option as much as possible because it gives players trust issues and discourages them from purchasing future expansions. "Why should I spent my hard earned money on farming a card if there a slight chance it will get nerfed? No thanks". That's why it's best to avoid nerfs as much as possible and let players figure out a way to solve the problem.
And even if they can't solve the problem, then it's ok. The fact that players are tying to find solutions (and by finding solutions I mean buying packs with real money in order to get those cards which they assumed are a solution but in reality they're not) is something that Blizzard really loves.
If its something that can be solved by the player then its not a problematic card but a problem about the player.
Do you really believe this ?
That would rather quick resolve in people not wanting to buy anything because no matter what they do, it won't help anything. Which results in less players playing the game, a game thats right now are in crisis, because of their last couple of fucks ups. There is a reason why Blizzard have commented that they should have done something about the evolve a month ago.
Personally I'm only logging in to do daily quests so I can be a bit prepared for the next expansion, I'm so tired of loosing so shaman in round 5 because of hare, mogu evolve. With close to 30 % of players, playing shaman. Its broken like hell, normally I've bought the big pre-purchase bundle, but I'm not going to this time because I have serious doubt about Blizzards ability and will to balance things.
common Blizzard - This card makes no sense... completely negates the whole theme of the entire new Expansion.
Dragon decks are slow anyway and vulnerable to aggro, now with this card you might loose the game on the spot.
This card will see Nerf.
