Imagine if aggro Pally be a thing again with this card and coin against a control deck.
Well i guess you ll see what i mean man. They keep releasing crazy strong cards in termes of stats, value , cost.
Nothing is scary , just that we are on another power level of cards. That s it.
What is this sidequest??
It is very good because it forces your opponent to ping some classes
Obviously against aggro it doesn't work
This card is much better than it looks. Not only is 3/6 taunt for 2 mana a great value, it forces undesirable plays for your opponent's board against your board. They may for example, not trade a minion and instead hit face to prevent the taunt from going up, essentially giving you extra board control. You guys will be surprised by how confusing this card will end up being against a skillful Paladin player.
Because they want it to not support other secret cards but instead support the quest cards like Questing Explorer
I find it odd that it just says a “minion” instead of its name or at least its tribe (Demon, Mech etc...)
The (supposedly) tauren summoned doesn't have a tribe
*It's also the almost same wording on mirror image
This is one of the better sidequests, and I'm happy to see that they're willing to push the restrictions of what quests/sidequests are by moving this up to 2 mana to keep it strong but not imba. It'd be too easy to just put this out on turn 1 and if it was essentially anything other than a 1 drop it'd be too easy to get out without taking damage.
That being said, lots of people are saying that the side quests aren't strong enough to carry the good classes compared to Galakrond, which...1., true, but 2., at that point don't you think you're missing the point of a SIDE quest? Druid is getting 2 mana Wild Growth+draw a card and 3/4 of the good classes are in the top 4 in winrate. Somehow I think the league of explorers will be fine.
Yeah all true but dont you think that a 3/6 taunt minion is too much ?
To be fair with the power level of the hearthstone that we know should be a 3/4 or even a 3/3.
Man, it is a 2 mana 3/6 on which you have to wait at least three turns.
1) The turn you play it
2) The opponent's turn, and they will do damage to you
3) Your turn, unless you are so dumb you damage yourself (for example, you cannot use weapons in that turn).
And then it is summoned at the end of that turn, which means that it will be probably punched by your enemy, either with the previously summoned minions or a spell.
It is not overpowered. It is basically a 2 mana 3/6 "Battlecry: remove this from the field. Summon this at the end of your next turn, if you are not too stupid, and your opponent knows it. Ah, btw Taunt, that will make me as broken as an Injured Tolvir"
Have you seen the power level of the expansion so far? A 2 mana delayed 3/6 is not what you should be worried about.
Yesterday i just made a post on the forum sayng how the power level of this set is way higher then what we saw in the past .... i got a lot of people sayng it s not true eccc....
why is this not a secret ?
excuse me do i get it right that this is 3/6 for 2 mana vs any control deck.... ye agro needed some buff.....
I’d rather not give my opponent additional incentive to go face.
Well, you might draw some attention from your board
Exactly @ panerduto , It forces your opponent to skip a favorable trade, screwing up their board control essentially.
Apologies if someone else answered this, but if my hero takes damage during my opponents turn and then attacks a friendly minion with Lifesteal that offsets the damage taken, does that still mean I took damage?
I would assume so, yes.
