It's amusing how people complain about a slow card like this, but are happy to die to aggro by turn 4, 5 or 6... amazing.
Priest loses radiant elemental, shadow visions, spellstone, shadow essence, and eternal servitude.. yet you complain they get a slow 9 mana resurrect 3...
LuL. Big priest is not a thing without those other summon/rez cards. At least in standard anyway. Yes wild is a thing, but does that mean standard priest needs no cards at all?
They also lose board clears and healing this rotation... they need a lot more support if they will be viable.
In any case, die turn 4 to aggro or die 15-20mins into a game by priest?

Almost all of the community will decide to die turn 4 to aggro.
Because we have a sick world that leaves us no times. If they die after playing 15 minutes instead of dying on t4 , they won't have time to play another game. This is why aggro is super popular. They can play more. If they couldn't win after t7 they can easily quit because they know they can't win after t8.
That's why people are leaving the game in apex legends when they die. They don't care their teammates will resurrect them or not. They simply quit and join a new game.
That's why there are leavers in mobas. If they feed at start, they don't want to try comeback because if they did not die, the game will last for 20 mins but comeback games lasts at least 30 mins.
We are living in a sick world. Embrace it or hide.
Ah and for me, I will decide a 15 min hearthstone game because i am always trying, never concede even I know I will lose after i ended the turn. but well, I was hiding it. :P
Players who don't play priest are complaining they don't want to play against another ress priest deck again.
Players who play priest are complaining this card is stupid for the reasons you stated.
I reckon the majority of community prefers to die on turn 4 in a game that your actions matter over a 15 minutes game where doesn't matter what you do. My last game against priest was : stall, stall, stall till turn 9, cloning gallery into 2 mind blast 40 damage face. I have cleaned the board, killed 2 5/5 radiant elemental ( he got from that 6 mana spell), and any actions changed a thing on the outcome of the game.
I have to agree here. I feel bad for the wild players because it's more pain heaped onto them already. Standard though this card is some bad. Priest lost way to many cards to make revive priest a thing right now. As for wild my hope is that in the near future they introduce a new format using rotating old sets so you can use the old cards in a semi wild format without the pain that wild is.

Why is this a card?
I mean........ It felt really good when they finally started printing ranked viable cards for Priest again, but KnC and Knights of the Frozen Throne went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top (not just in Priest, Warlock and Druid and Hunter also). Yes, this card costs more and after the rotation we will not have Shadow Visions and Psychic Scream and Shadowreaper Anduin, but honestly, while these cards are frustrating to play against, these big resurrects are one of the most unfun mechanic to play against. Hopefully because of the rotating OP priest cards this cards will not be a big problem in standard, but in Wild this will be very problematic.
Do we really need another big priest card? Is the current state of wild not enough?
Because they lack the imagination to think up a new, valid archetype.
Oh boy I get to relive same shit that happened 2 days ago! This expansion came out at least 5 years too soon.
Eh, seems like no one cares about editing the text on card? In russian (in which language it was announced) it says: "Summon 3 friendly minions that died this game" - not ressurect, and there was no "different" on the card either.
