I think this card is not bad. In mill druid, when our deck is empty, we can play this card + Innervate + Naturalize. Next turn, we draw and take 3+1 dame, shuffle 2 Corrupted Blood into deck, then play King Togwaggle and win because 2 Corrupted Blood will be infinite loop (?).
The problem is the turn before we win, we really do nothing. Skulking geist is also a problem.
In conclusion, I think this card is good tech card ịn mill druid. Depend on what we dealing with, we can choose Azalina combo or this card combo.
Sounds interessting. If this works this card would be the new Mecha´thun.
Casts When Drawn keyword also draws a card, so drawing this with no other cards in your deck should be lethal I assume.
Yes thank you i'm not the only one seeing that lol
Dammit. I thought it said Battlecry and was so excited, but it’s actually a deathrattle card.
My plan was to play Hakkar and then Prince Liam my deck so that I would not die by the bloods. It’s a natural fit for Paladin with all the heals and stuff they were giving him to outlast his opponent and let them die to the bloods. If the deck becomes too prominent, Skulking Geist will always be there to provide actual counterplay (unlike some decks...)
Overall, still going to test it out. Maybe throw Zola in there so I can bounce it back after the silence. Now I have two win conditions, the horsemen and the blood. Hooooo boy.
It only says "Casts when drawn" and not "Draw a card", so I don't think it's an OTK. Best case scenario - your opponent takes 3 dmg every turn if he doesn't have cards, so a worse fatigue.
On the other hand, if you get lucky and your opponent draws it right away on turn 21-22, it means they have about 14 cards + 2 bloods, then 3, then 4, etc. and they waste a turn every time. It is a very RNG-dependent snowball-ish card. It will be fun to play but it is too slow for its effect. Maybe if it was a turn 7 or 8, it would have been okay.
It doesn't say "Draw a card", but it actually does...
Casts When Drawn keyword was added to hs in boomsday. The (spell) card is cast without mana when drawn. Another card is then drawn. (like it happens with (Spider Ambush! and Darkness Candle)
Well, it looks like Mecha´thun is pretty dead.
YOUR MAGIC SHALL NOT SAVE YOU!!
best card
rotate in April, and then everyone to pray, or play demonic project
Mecha'thun counterplay?
Control Warlock with Void contract + SoulFlayer
Alright - heres my idea.
You play this.
You play Myra's Unstable Element(Until your hand is full) and Shadowblade with Corrupted Blood in deck.
After you finish taking infinite damage, you end up with 60 of Blood.
Togwaggle.
EDIT: Did I miss anything?
SECOND EDIT: Apparently some are still not getting it, and I think explained badly.
Myra's Unstable Element sets up an infinite cycle of Corrupted Blood, and Shadowblade saves you from the damage. Once Corrupted Blood stops (which it will at some point), you Togwaggle the decks.
SO the board would look like this - your Corrupted Blood Deck infinitely duplicating itself (and you drawing the remainder of your deck), then Togwaggle the deck to your opponent, end turn and he draws the 60 Corrupted Bloods. 180 Damage, possibly more.
I AM NOT SHUFFLING A SINGLE CORRUPTED BLOOD INTO MY EMPTY DECK AND TOGWAGGLING. IM PRETTY SURE THAT WONT WORK.
Where are you getting the 26 mana to do all this in 1 turn? And if you're not doing this in 1 turn, Shadowblade won't save you.
Have you never played mill rogue before? Shadowblade gives you immune ON YOUR OWN TURN so if you draw any corrupted bloods they activate but you wont take any damage.
melheor first off, its not 26 mana - it's 16. And why won't it save me?
OH MY GOd I thought Mojolo and Insurge replied to me and I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out what the heck they meant
Even if they were replying to me, their comment about Shadowblade is not at all relevant, that's not what I was questioning. I'm aware of its battlecry. The battlecry lasts only 1 turn. You have to finish your entire combo in that one turn. The 26 mana comes from Myra's Element (5 - admittedly you can play it the turn before) + Shadowblade (3) + Toggwaggle (8) + this minion (10). That's still 21 mana. How are you getting 16 mana?
EDIT: Ok, after rereading your post a few more times, I think you were planning to play this minion the turn before into a non-empty deck instead of on the same turn into an empty one. But with your approach you risk burning the Corrupted Blood instead of activating it while playing Myra's Element. Not a consistent combo. Moreover, you still need 16 mana in 1 turn. Those 6 coins in hand (in addition to the combo to pull this off) is indeed a miracle even for a rogue.
