PCGamer Leaks Expansion Information - Rastakhan's Rumble
So, PCGamer dun goofed thanks to a reddit post from JamieFTW. Some details on the new Hearthstone expansion have been revealed thanks to copy pasted text in an article that has no relevance to Hearthstone!
Meanwhile, they will continue to get card reveals from Blizzard. Awesome!
Quote from PCGamerOnce every generation, Azeroth's Troll tribes come together to compete for the blessings of the Loa and the favor of King Rastakhan. The no-holds-barred battle forms the basis for Rastakhan's Rumble, the next Hearthstone expansion, which was just revealed today as part of the BlizzCon opening ceremony.
Nine teams will take part in the latest iteration of this time-honored Troll-down, each led by a Legendary Troll Champion representing one of the Hearthstone classes. The Loa, ancient spirits worshipped by the Trolls, will also take part in the fighting as Legendary minions. Shirvallah the Tiger is the Paladin Loa, which costs a cool 25-Mana to cast. You can reduce that outlay by casting spells, but even so it seems like a restrictive price for an effect that's probably only going to be good in incredibly slow control decks.

what do you mean shaman only has morgll as a skin, hagatha is a herocard not a skin
For Alliance! HS cannot earn my money this expansion!
on the other note I did expect them to introduce nine new hero cards so that hagatha and dr boom wouldn’t be a bit OP...
They could have done it in April expansion though so couldn’t be sure about it just yet...
Poor PCGamer intern really...
Will be interesting to see what the recently registered http://rastakhansrumble.com looks like once it goes live.
So its true afterall, i think this theme is awesome. they almost got me with the parrot teaser
Damn, wish the Druid legendary was 25 mana. That would be a good way to balance the class.
25 mana cost paladin card?
my Holy Wrath catapult is ready.
You are so right. This will be a meme deck for sure. Probably not super effective if the rest of your deck is spells and spells reduce the cost of the card. Still should be fun.
Palas Loa sounds like another useless buff pala leg. But pretty hyped after this, glad to see trolls, they are awesome, and ofc better than pirates.
So I made a post in another article saying that I think hearthpwn should talk about these leaks. I’m told it’s stupid to do such a thing and get downvoted for it. Now more leaks come out and turns out I’m right, oh and hearthpwn makes an article out of it. tHaT IsN’T HypOcRyTicAl.
The Hearthstone expansions somehow always leak early. Pretty sure they aren't leaks but marketing XD
There has to be legitimacy for me to post about a leak.
Hearthpwn staff probably also know about these things in advance (before the rest of us). Notice how the card discussion pages are pre-generated before the cards are revealed, and are just locked behind "forbidden" access flag until a minute after the card is revealed. And as soon as the card is revealed, the graphic and design is already done. My guess is Hearthpwn doesn't talk about these leaks exactly because they don't want to lose privilege of having Blizzard share this info with them beforehand.
@melheor
We'll take that comment as a compliment :P
I mean, the Korean Blizzard page lately seems credible?
Hey sorry if the comment I made about your idea sounded a bit rude, I didn't mean it to come off that way. As it stands, I guess I didn't read clearly enough that the leak you were talking about was the Korean Blizzard one and instead the 4Chan one about the Secret of the Seven Seas.
It ain't a Hearthstone expansion without a leak, mon!
There are so many awesome zones in WOW, but I always seem to land on Stranglethorn Vale when discussing favourites. It was that sweet spot of around level 30ish, where you were starting to obtain sweet gear and building up a tree of talents/spells. You could almost always expect to get some PVP action as well.
The environment was lush as well - waterfalls, ruins, trees. One of those really immersive zones.
Long story short, I'm glad this might be the focal point. I'd love to see lots of greens, jungle motifs and troll tribal imagery.
