Witchwood Releases April 12 - Final Card Livestream on April 9
The Witchwood comes to Hearthstone on April 12! Get ready for a stream this Monday at 11 AM PDT (2 PM EDT, 8 PM CEST). Ben Brode and Day[9] will host the final event.
Quote from BlizzardThe city of Gilneas once lived in uneasy peace with the sprawling, ancient forest that looms beyond its walls. Though the wilderness was grim and forbidding, the citizens of Gilneas—being no ordinary folks—roved and hunted there without fear.
That was before a darkness began to fester in the heart of the forest. . . . Before the wicked witch Hagatha cast a dire curse!
A sunless gloom now cloaks winding trails, and gnarled branches claw hungrily at passersby. Terrified travelers speak of misshapen shadows flickering in an unearthly mist. In the witching hours, eerie figures have even been seen to stalk the narrow alleys and foggy, cobble-stoned streets of the city itself.
Foolhardy travelers who dare venture beyond the city walls after nightfall disappear into the wilderness, never to return. The Witchwood is safe for none to tread!
Beginning April 12, join the city’s brave monster hunters as they enter the forest on the trail of Hagatha the Witch in Hearthstone’s newest expansion: The Witchwood!
For a limited time* after The Witchwood arrives, log in to claim three card packs and a random class legendary card—both from the expansion—for free!
Time is running out to pre-purchase The Witchwood before the expansion launches to receive a special 50 card pack bundle, as well as the In a Dark Woodcard back and 20 more The Witchwood card packs as a bonus!
You will receive the In a Dark Wood card back and your packs as soon as your purchase is processed, and you can tear into your card packs once the expansion is live in your region.

Man, it's great that we have a new expansion coming, and a new Year of the X is always exciting, but damn I haven't been this un-hyped for an expansion since ever, and I've been playing since pre-Naxx. Hopefully we get some more interesting stuff in the final reveal.
Im Pretty sure that is what they are aiming for. Time and Time again they have said they want to slow down the meta. So it makes sense that the cards this Expac seem "weak" according to the general consensus .
I just can't wait for Brode and Day9 combo again
I would have preferred Kibler for the stream, but Day9 is a nice guy too!
Day9 was talking about Artifact with the other DOTA 2 Championship casters months ago. I wonder if Day9 will be jumping ship, and focus on Artifact once it's live this winter.
Maybe we won't have the Day9 and Ben Brode combo anymore :(
We can only hope that we're so lucky...
Why do you want them quickly there is no difference if the stream is 40 min or an hour and a half it is not like you get to play the cards sooner based on the length of the stream
Oh Come on guys, day9 did a pretty good job last expansion. Fordan is so serious.
Day9 led what was objectively the most bloated reveal stream to date. I for one will not be spending another 2+ hours listening to a Streamer who things To My Side is a "totally broken" card.
April 12th? Ok, so it's April 13th for Europe.
Lel, last expansion was on the same day in Europe
Friday the 13th too... which is kinda bad luck... *opens packs* "dammit! Not enough legendaries! Must've jinxed it!"
They couldn't have timed the release date better - my last exam is on the 12th. I know how i'm going to celebrate :)
Give your money to BLI$$ARD?
I will watch just to see Ben Brode try to repress how much he struggles to laugh at Day9
Day9 is hard to watch...
Repress laugh? Ben Brode will not do that, he will just make fun of Day 9 openly like last time...
I'm more excited about MSoG rotating out than I am the actual expansion.
Same. No more Jade Idol literally feels like christmas. Now if only it could disappear from wild too...
