What's up with all the nerfs to evolve this expansion
Evolve shaman can get a 9 mana 3/3 when he evolves a 8 man's card.

I like the idea but it just won't work
It's a 9 mana card, which already makes it very awkward to play and at the end of the day, what does it accomplish? Sure, you rpetty much summon lethal to the board, but against msot control decks this won't matter at all because they can usually just clear the board.
Against aggro you're just wasting a turn and letting them kill you UNLESS you are already winning anyways
It's already hard enough to play Frost LIch Jaina without suffering a huge tempo loss, I don't see how this is any different. NOt to mention it's not even that easy to upgrade
True. For this card works against control you have to have another treats for your opponent to waste boardclears like Twist, blizzard->flamestrike, brawl (or maybe some combos with sleep with the fishes), Anduin(+Lightbomb in wild) or equality+consecration.
So it could work with good mediev into few big minions, maybe with some big elementals (looking for next meta elemental mage), maybe Sindragosa and Jaina's 3-6 bitches will help you to deplete you opponent. This card by itself is a win condition but you really need to prepare opponents hand for this.
And dont forget that some classes just cand manage with this board. Against druid, rogue and shaman (in standart) is instawin (exept you die of course), against hunted, well, i guess it you alive turn 9 aganst hunter you already win. So i see some potential there, but not sure it will work out

The question does deck of wonders count for 6+ dragons .because it counts as 1 by playing it then it casts it self for 5 mana ( the card does not specify played ) this then casts another spell which could be worth higher than 5 mana ( same with yog (read the text it says cast spells ) does it trigger this effect with the spells it uses if not it should because thats how they read :) ).
Without Yog or potential 6+ dragons deck of wonders ( can't have more than 7 cards on board so :) 6+ does not matter because its 6+ the card)
The playable mage spell cards are fire lands portal and flame strike which are both above 5 mana and a card that might become playable with the introduction of the new elemental. This card is known as cabalist's tomb ( 5 mana) and discounting a flame or fire lands with the elemental means they would still be worth 5 mana same with cards you get from primordial glyph also i just remembered that you can also play meteor which is above 5 mana which means you can at least currently run 6+ cards that work with this + the stuff that you get from random effects e.g discover and add.
Meaning I think this card will get played more than you think :)
I guess that 9 mana cost will kill this card. Too late. Actually mage hasn't a lot of 5+ mana cost card. Blizzardx0-1, Flamestrikex0-1 + firelands portalx2. So it will most likely summon 1-2 dragon maximum in general situation. 8/8 fo 9 is bad (worst than sindragosa). 13/13 for 9 is not much better as well. If you have heavy mage with a lot of late game spells, ok, but normally I think this is not the case.
If card was for 5 mana (3-4 mana cost spells) and summoned 3/3 dragons maybe it would be better.
I am pretty sure, that you can found few mage spell for 5 mana and make it look like this legendary is valuable, but again the problem is that this is casted on turn 9. Yea, it is good card for filling board back in control match eventually where neither of the players has card and this is coming as top deck. But this is terrible as response to already builded board by opponent, because you just give your opponent next turn to decide how to deal with your board. He may not have any way to clear it, but even right now we are fighting Jade Druids which for 1 turn put 3-4 minions 8/8+ and we somehow manage to do it. I even like syndragose more, because it gave you 0/1 body under Jaina DK hero power + 2 random legendaries, which in late game may do the difference. As well 0/1 is almost like a 0/1 with taunt, because your opponent don't want to leave you 1 more minion under DK.
Take that Dragonfire Potion :D
400 dust, like what are the odds you did cast 2+ 5mp cost spells in 1 game and didnt die yet
In current fast meta you cant waste your 9 mana just to summon few 5/5 minion in lategame, this card will take place in tier 3 deck max

Don't know why people hate it. Onyxia was a playable constructed card and this one has more then x2 stats on her.
