New Mage Card Reveal: Deck of Wonders
A new epic Mage card has been revealed by GameInformer!
- These random spells do not count toward things like Open The Waygate or spell trigger cards like Violet Teacher.
- You can't pick the targets.
- The spells can be from any class, much like a Yogg-Saron trigger.

To be honest, I would gladly lose fabulously to a mage drawing 5 of these in the row and all of them going Pyroblast to my face. Sometimes it hurts to lose to RNG when RNG isn't even a factor of the card, but I respect people who can be consistent with an RNG effect.
Chill out. Blizzard puts a handful of meme cards in every set. They are so much better now with RNG’S role in Hearthstone (for Standard at least). Just have fun with this card.
Holy crap, I don't mind personally but all the people mad about the RNG in this game will be so mad...
Cataclysm ...
i think its still worth a try tho
Memories of Yogg-Saron, Hope's End casting Treachery....
I am already waiting for the video where someone chains Pyroblast in his own face from this card
Because mage isn't too fun to play against. I'll take meme cards in place of trying to counter burn mechanics.
Also, mage has always been the strongest class in arena for its reliability and straight up good cards, like fireball and stuff, shoving in some randomness might make the class less picked. Sure, there are better ways to nerf a class, but it's blizzard we're talking about, you don't want them to deliver an actual nerf
Because according to Blizzard, the best way to nerf something is either to beat it to death with a stick or shove some trash down its throat.
Thing is those are predictable rng's, they're mage spells, which are pretty darn good, like I mentioned. Rng is healthy to a class as lomg as its good and okay outcomes overweight its bad outcomes. With a spell like this one, they're not only nerfing the arena draft itself, but also making every single mage spell generator slightly worse, with the possibility of a bad spell that when cast, is not even predictable, since it can be any class spell. I'm not saying they're crushing it to the ground, they're fine tuning it, just like they did with evolve shaman, which was first too strong, then became unreliable trash due to strong indirect nerfs, now they've added unstable evolution to bump it up again, but added more indirect nerf minions in order to cover every mana cost, just so the rng aspect is still there.
OMG Fatigue Control mage - get into fatigue, cast two of these, cast 10 spells in a row and kill yourself in the process. Legend in three days.
A Tavern Brawl with the decks full of Scroll of Wonder. You only press the "end turn" button.
It would probably be the most popular brawl.
Is Blizzard's goal to have mages have 30 rng card generators in their decks?
28... And then discount t by 4-6 mana...
I don't know you guys, but I loved Yogg-Saron...
