I think they made the rule long time ago that random effect cards can't generate, cast or discover themselves
I guess there might be a possibility to use it as a finisher, by using AoE to kill everything and then let the bigger spells go full face.
If not, then it's probably just clear the board and draw a lot of cards, which is less interesting.
Can you get a second copy of it that casts itself?

Usually cards like those don't appear in random and discover effects.
The trend for mage has been: 'discover or play previously existing spells'.. We get nothing new. And it's no different this time. I'd love to see new mage spells for a change.
Has blizzard lost creativity with mage?
Ohmy...not other card that gives the opp 0+1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 (Aka 55) mana for just 10 mana.
It's like Grand Magister Rommath but with much less rng. Sunset Volley, Blizzard and Lightshow are just few possibilities with pretty much no backfire potential. Also, I wonder if it can recast itself if random generated after maindeck card is played.
I have no idea if it can, but I did think about it being able to re-cast cards like Puzzlebox and Rune, and the potential mana expenditure from casting this is enormous. Really mindblowing.

This will be strong when the spell pool is big, especially with damaging spells. As of now this will be pretty weak, but has the potential to be pretty strong down the line.
Random spells are powerful on average, but when they try to target enemies that makes them a lot stronger. With enough support I could definitely see this working as an entertaining finisher. A bit frustrating given the massive RNG, but at least it's exciting.I misread the card text. For every cost (0-10) of spells you've cast, one of those spells will be recast, aimed at an enemy target if possible. So your deck decides which spells will be recast. Very interesting design!
What massive rng? You can almost perfectly curate what goes into this spell. It RECASTS spells you played that game. So if you hit them with damage spells on every mana step from 1-10, then it's going to spit out those same spells again.
I bet Mages can have a ton of fun getting the perfect set of spells that go into this for a perfect mixture of board and face damage to the opponent, with some card draw and other reload to boot.
The only real problem is GETTING to 10 mana and having to use defensive spells along the way.
You are absolutely right. I misread the text. For a moment I thought it meant that you'd cast a random spell for each spell you'd cast, equal to the cost of that spell. But you're correct. Wow, that makes it much more reliable as a finisher.
Slightly disappointed for them to do this as mage's anniversary legendary. Haven't we had enough cards that essentially read "DO A LOT OF RANDOM STUFF"?
You don't seem to understand how the card works. It's not a random cast effect; it casts spells that have already been played. It's pretty easy to know what big spells were played. Its design is actually quite good, ensuring it doesn't cast random spells but rather spells that you have cast before. Next time, try to understand the card before commenting.
Oh... Well... In that case I'm going to use it to cast Puzzle box of Yogg and my argument still stands :)
