DH identity: Draw cards, generate cards, small minion, big expensive demon, cheap spells, weapon (sometimes), ¿quilboar?, lifesteal but the life stealed becomes damage again, outcast (but not this time), that guy that shots your hand, dices....
I mean, why the shift to value for the class that started seeing play as combo OR aggresive? This one (that generates cards that were OP 2 years ago, like powercreep isnt a thing), will see the same play that the DH naga that rolls 2 dices.
overrated
power lvl is way higher now compared to those days
I think it's way too slow. You get a 1 mana 1/3 on turn 5... But it may be a good refill for a very aggressive strategy.
Interesting hair choice by the video person. I don't like it as a Deathrattle. A Battlecry makes more sense to me. Honestly its okay... I don't exactly see how strong this will be at this moment.
I think a Battlecry would be better, but I think a Deathrattle makes sense because what physical card collector do you know that would willingly part with old mint condition cards rather than die?
Deathrattle instead of battlecry is a weird choice.
A lot of card in the pool need some planning, so that delay really messes up the effectiveness in my opinion.
Oh I get it, CCG (collecting card game)
I was the whole video thinking "That has to be a pun" but my english is not sharp enough to catch it. (Tho to be fair I always said and hear TCG...but I guess that you can't Trade Hearstone cards)
I am blind it seems. I thought it said Battlecry.
It seems the bigger drawback is that the card is a 4 mana Deathrattle, and not a Battlecry. Even in the reveal video, they had to blast it with their own spell to get mileage off it, and DH hasn't had true Deathrattle support since 2021, if I recall correctly. Underwhelming.
The text is very in the edge. But it's cool that they play with the idea of the class being nerfed 11 times in the first couple of weeks.
Out of context the card pool looks a bit too random, and some of the cards...aren't really that amazing? Like some of them were already reverted, I'm not even sure that Metamorphosis is better than the current version of the card. And most of this cards have pretty low impact on the game. The powerlevel of the game changed a bit in this last 4 years.
But beyond how powerfull the pool actually is, I think that a 4-Mana 4/3 that gives you 3 cards is solid enough to see some play. And is a cute detail that is a Sporeggar that is a race first (and only as far as I remember) introduced in Ashes of Outland, the set when DH was Introduced.
i'm getting flashbacks of not being able to play any decks I was looking forward to
How interesting, Demon Hunter's early life nerfs are being used as an actual game mechanic. Like its a true part of the lore now.
This is a new stage of post-modern metahumor. I'm rolling on the floor
Don't roll too far now, we still need you.
