The only way I see this being playable is if it's cheated out.
The miniaturized version can also get things magnetized to it pretty easily.
Best bet might be SP-3Y3-D3R giving you a turn of stealth, so you'll very likely get two hits from it. You can also get reborn with prosthetic hand which probably sucks but can be a nuisance against some decks.
I mean, it's not amazing, but I guess that if you *can* play the card, then you can get multiple copies of the mini and that would be pretty interesting. It's kinda sad that you need to play the card to get the mini. If was "when summon" it would be a lot more interesting.
Tho, it's a Mech, and there is a lot of ways of reduce the cost of Metch, so if you can play the minion and the mini in the same turn is quite more impactfull. Stills feels a little slow in my opinion.
I hate how this is how 10 mana minions are nowadays. Onyxia, Neputlon, and now this are the perfect example. 10 mana dump a huge amount of stats that have to die. 10 mana 12/14 stats that HAVE to be removed. Then 1 mana 7/8 next turn that HAVE to be removed.
I mean it's great that 10 mana cards are worth playing. What's the point otherwise
What, would you rather have the 10 mana 10/10 do nothings of Hearthstone past?
Fact of the matter is, to justify putting a 10 mana minion into your deck and paying the full 10 mana, the effect you need to get from it HAS to be absurdly powerful, if not game-ending. Otherwise we'll laugh at it and forget it exists in a week. It was the case back in 2014, it is still the case now. The only difference is that the developers back in 2014 didn't know how to make 10 mana minions good, and they do now.
I mean it can hit face so thats not terrible... next turn play it for 1 same thing.
First I saw the miniaturize potential and was confused.
Then I saw the mana cost.
Perhaps if you can cheat it out, it could be good, but that can be said about a lot of cards.
i wouldnt write this off so quick..looks deadly
10 mana for something that does nothing right away, doesn't seem very useful.
It's -potentially- a fireball to the face... I guess. Not convinced though.
