lmao, all ya'll that're complaining about the language on that card saying "Destroy the bottom six cards of your deck."
Yeeeesh! lol, it's the same as it is in Magic the Gathering. Hope that helps! The reason why it doesn't say discard is because the word discard is only used in reference to cards in hand. If the cards that're being removed aren't in your hand yet, then they're destroyed instead of discarded.
here's a quick rundown:
a card that would be drawn into your hand, and you have space in your hand for it can be 'burned' or 'discarded' or 'removed'.
a card that would be drawn into your hand, but you don't have enough space for it will be 'burned', but can also be 'removed'.
if a card is 'discarded' it means it was removed from the player's hand and has no interaction with their deck.
if a card is 'burned' it means the card was drawn from the deck when a player had a full hand and therefore couldn't hold any more cards, or if a special condition is met from a specific card effect (such as the warlock 4 mana spell 'immolate').
if a card is 'destroyed' it means that the card(s) are forcibly removed from the players' deck through another card effect and could be anywhere in the remaining cards left in the deck unless otherwise stated on the card that removes them (such as the symphony of sins spell that removes the top 6 cards).
i hope this helps enlighten you on the different versions of card removal that's not based around minion/spell combat on-board.
Yeah, because there’s nothing else that’s ever wild in wild going on.
i have a very bad feeling about chaos creation. Seems like the kind of card that no one expected to be good but can easy become a solid finisher.
Lol, how are these cards good for mage in the slightest. literal trash.
They aren't. Mage got way better cards but I do think Soulfreeze can be good in some matchups to get from discover cards to buy time.
2 mana 2/1 draw 2 is trash. ok 🤡
That card isn't for Mage, its Warlock only. They are referring to the other two cards.
These are some real Emo cards - why so much focus on self damage and removale of card from own deck. Why can't we forge it to remove cards from our opponents deck instead.
Does destroy mean discard? …if i remember well, this barrels are “when u played or discarded ”
Destroy and discard are two different mechanisms, barrels of sludge activate on play, destroy or discard.
Geode is definitely going to see play in demon seed, 10/10 card there.
Chaos Creation however definitely isn't. Questlock can reliably deck itself by turn 8-10 (especially easier now with Geode), it doesn't need a -1mana firelands portal.
Chaos Creation might be fun to see of a Prison of Yogg
As I'm playing Wild as I type this, the Quest Warlock deck is still very viable and would slot that card in a heartbeat.
Goode is good its basiclly two taps for the same mana as one and comes attached with a 2/1 body liking that card and feels like a good warlock card.
Soulfreeze im not liking that much and Chaos Creation is just a terrible card to have multiclass obviously it has no synergy what so ever with Mage for Warlock it has synergy with puke deck.
Geode seems decent, but I have a hunch that it won't make the cut unless you really want to damage yourself.
Soulfreeze is 10/10 for combo decks. Paying 3 health to freeze 3 targets is nothing since you'll easily prevent more than that from them not attacking, and for just 1 mana!
Chaos Creation looks like it's for Sludge Warlock only, unless someone can figure out a way to make it playable with Tony.
Games hardly ever last that long. Especially if you are playing a tempo deck. If tempo mage becomes a thing in the future metas, chaos creation will be a staple.
Just fucking great, Questlock gets a cheap ass control card that helps it with it's quest. Fucking wonderful.
Chaos Creation might be fun in a Sludge Warlock deck, in addition to, or as a replacement for, Steamcleaner.
And Steamcleaner is rotating in a couple of months, so this is insurance against that for Sludge lock. I like it.
Elementium Geode would've been a great card back when card draw wasn't a free bonus on vanilla statted minions and the like. It might just still be viable but losing 4 health is a big downside. We've had 2 mana fill your hand with Imp Warlock so this feels more like making filler by making a card that would've been great a few years ago.
