Thief Rogue still needs more help, this won't see play as is.
Gear Shift seems great though for combo decks.
For people sleeping on Gear Shift, it's literally just Graceful Charity from Yu-Gi-Oh.
It puts you hand neutral in card advantage and always moves the cards in your hand that have been there the longest ( Most likely high mana cards or bricks ) and replaces them with playable cards.
It's absolutely stellar.
it still have the possibility of redrawing those cards , but it would made some hilarious situation tho
I’m with you. The fact that it’s a targeted discard and not a random discard per usual is a big deal.
I’m not a fan of these cards, and I don’t understand the comments praising them.
Gear shift is effectively a draw 1 card for 1 mana; you will usually just trade two cards for two cards of comparable value. It’s only effective at all when you have an empty hand, which makes it too situational, and ensures that you’re probably playing it late in the turn ( we all know you always want to draw last, right?). Maybe this will see play if there are effects that trigger when adding cards to your hand, but there are no signs of any such cards in this set. By itself, it’s a weak card.
The Creation is a Bloodfen Raptor with a mediocre discover effect. It’s unexceptional, and probably won’t see play for the same reason that the 4/4 with discover doesn’t.
These cards are consistent with the direction of rogue cards in recent expansions, and that direction has been leading rogue decks into the gutter.
yall got to stop disregarding half the effect. you still draw three cards. if you only have this card in your hand its still draw 3. In what way being able to choose what you remove to additionally draw 3 cards bad ? This fits rougues combo oriented style very well also leaning into that archetype. Your reasoning for palying it late in the turn makes no sense. you are probally going to play this at the beginning, either you can use the two left cards in your hand and dont paly it or you dont use them and draw 3 cards. why would you wait to receive 3 cards to maek a decision on your turn?
Half the effect doens't exist, you never going to have 1 or 0 cards in your hand playing as Rogue that simply not gonna happen,ever. Half the effect is specific for one scenario which is a greedy Deathrattle Rogue deck that runs Scourge Illusionist and you draw the cluncky deathrattle minions early on that you wanna discount with illusionist and shuffle them back to the deck, thats literally the only scenario it might work well but still very situational.
We already have better draws for combo decks such as door of shadows, gone fishin, ghostly strike they all better than this by a mile.
looking at the cards for this archetype, running low on cards can be quite common. The card still draws 3 for 1 mana, it doesnt matter much what the effect is when you are paying 1 mana for 3 cards. I have been playing since beta, never has such a value card not been played. This card is definetly going to see play. Simple maths would also show you this gets rid of the cards that havent been played the longest in your hanmd. it always puts your hand in a positive draw position which you probally dont undestand by the way you are discussing this card.
More likely to get away of good cards than cards that haven't been played. You can argue that it is good for secrets as well to put them back in the deck for Private Eye but that doens't sound appeling to me.
The card is just trash man, move on...
Edit: Also the fact that you have been playing since beta means nothing, i also play since beta and this is not a value card it's a unique design, sure, but not a value one this is mainly for aggro which doens't exist and problably never will until DK,DH,Priest and Hunter fully heals back multiple times in a single match.
mainly for aggro xD ? its literally a rogue SPELL for 1 mana that draws 3 cards. Rogue is one of the best classes for this card. Combo Initiator + card draw + Spell. I dont think you quite understand the card design or the way its implemented in this class and its synergy with toehr cards especially in rogue. You gotta take more int account than jsut the effect when evaluating cards.

The only playable deck for Rogue utilizes this card. You mentioned it's unplayable, but even after the nerfs, the deck remains in tier 1 according to HSReplay. You can also observe that the card maintains a positive win rate. I apologize, but I don't spend all my time on Twitch, so I'm not familiar with the term 'gigachad.' It seems like you might be referring to someone like yourself. It's okay to make mistakes sometimes, but it's pathetic to be so dumbfoundedly stubborn when your arguments are contradicted by solid statistics.
not to be mean but its a pretty good card has seen a lot or recent play
you seem very mad for no reason about a good card that is seeing play in 2 of the best meta rogue decks since the expansion

This is a very good 2drop even before burgle synergies. Rogues like cheap spells.
Boring? Those Discover cards and especially the Rogue ones that give options from across almost all classes are the ones that are the most exciting to me. But each to their own I guess.
If gear shift is the only card in your hand it might just be a 1 mana draw 3. If you can't play the other cards first you're probably not too sad about shuffling them. It'll be awkward sometimes, but I think overall good.
Kaja'mite is solid. It's like that priest 3/2 that everyone plays. Since the spell is cheap it's a good trigger for Ransack.
