Anyone feel gross playing against priest? Even if you win?

I've started just leaving instantly, and its been great. Still climbing but actually only fun games now.

I think Ooze would be ok, it's also a decent body, and with DH so popular you'll get the extra value probably 30% of the time.

After having played another 20 or so games, and finally really 'getting' this deck, I think I missed out on a major element of Kanrethad, which is his aura. There's nothing like a coin+scrap on t1, tap on turn 2, with Kan in hand, setting you up to drop a 5/4 Kanrethad, 3/5 voidwalker, 5/4 imp on turn 3. I have had two turn 3 concedes just today because of that. So, I will say I have reevaluated my position and he can be more valuable than I gave him credit. That said, I still have only played Kanrethad PRIME once ... usually the game is just well over by then, but the one time I did play him I ended up winning because he pulled in both Matrons.

I think Zephrys could be another good alternate, you can burn through your whole deck in about 5 turns if you wanted to, so he's a great body to stick on turn 2, but, can potentially save you if you end up taking more than 6 turns to win.

Other alternates could be an owl to clear annoying things like taunts, lifesteals, or warrior eggs. Jaraxus might be a fun experiment as a lategame value generator or heal, but I could see it being a dead card quite often.

After playing 30 games, I have yet to ever play Kanrethad prime. For me he has just been a great tempo 2 drop. I imagine if a game went long somehow you could get a ton of value with expired merchant's discarding him and then adding more to your hand but, I have yet to make it to that point in a game. Maybe the deck poster has a a different take on it but in my relatively brief experience with the deck he's just bee a solid body for turn 2 and can draw some aggro off your more important Dark Glare's and Vultures.

Love the idea! Do you stream or have any vods of this being played? I want to see how you handle priest.

posted a message on How many packs are needed to get all the cards in Outlands?

It's not that simple. Each pack you open has 5 slots, each of those 5 slots can be anything from common to legendary (I think one "blue or better" is guaranteed though?). Duplicate protection means that you won't get the same card again until you have all others of that rarity. But, it does NOT mean that if you have 100% commons, that your packs won't roll a common slot.

So suppose you have 100% of the common, legendary, and rare cards from the set, and no epics at all. You can still open a pack that is common, common, common, common, rare. Duplicate protection doesn't guarantee you get the missing cards, you are just guaranteed to get no duplicate epics IF your pack rolls one more more epic slots.

edit: TLDR there is no exact number of packs required. It is probably hundreds less than it used to be before duplicate protection, but even when you have all the common and rares, you have a low chance of getting packs with epics and legendaries.

I don't have Bandersmosh. I assume its not that critical to the deck, but could you share your thoughts on potential substitutes? Maybe black knight or a zentimo with all the druid/priest these days (at least on my pocket meta)?

Not saying I don't believe you - I am really impressed/intrigued by this version of zoo - but what rank were you playing at for these 16 games? Just curious!

Love it. As a fellow thief rogue masochist, always interested in a different spin. That said, how much value are you seeing with Harrison? Just wondering what you tech'd him in for specifically, and how it has effected your win rate?

As someone who slogged along at 4x.0% with various plot twist decks last patch, I'm excited by your deck. Very interested to see how it evolves, and will be play testing similar. One question I have is with vargoth... He seems insane for an early quest completion with a double twist... But if you are unlucky enough to be ready for a Darkest Hour without seeing him, wouldn't he DH again and obliterate half your good minions?

This has been a really fun deck to play with. 9-7 is my record so far. The unfortunate part is just sometimes feels inconsistent and I seem to struggle against the two best decks out there, inner fire priest, and of course, our new king, bomb warrior.

I've been trying to make a Plot Twist deck work since day 1. About to get some games in with this (really thorough!) guide and see if it fairs any better than my version, Very excited and will provide feedback.

Would love to see someone making this deck (or similar) work now that the meta is settling. It was fun day 1 when nobody knew what anyone was doing, but it seems to struggle against fast and slow decks alike.

About 3 and 7 with this deck so far, seems like it has tons of potential but needs some refinement.

Harrison seems kind of fat, I am not running into that many rogues and warriors at rank 10 and ooze feels like it could be more versatile early game against pala/mage/druid.
