I was wondering this myself. I found it odd that it tells you which decks and hero powers you have cleared a run with and not just the class. So far nothing is confirmed for it and we'll have to wait until week 4 to find out but who knows maybe you get something.

Dunscot posted a message on Blizzard has Added an Additional Grand Prize to the Quest for Packs GiveawayPosted in: NewsI understand you. Reading negative comments can feel disheartening and make you feel bad for enjoying the game. I've experienced it myself when I was really excited about the reveals for Journey to Un'Goro, but all that people had to say about pretty much every new card was how bad it is, which pretty much ruined it for me. There have been times I wanted to say what you said.
However, I'm sorry to say this, but it does not work this way. To begin with, it is silly not to tolerate negative opinions, especially when that's all they are. Most comments are fair criticism; nobody is getting insulted or threatened or anything like that. It's just people stating their opinion, which is perfectly fine. If you try to get in contact with other people, if you want to hear/read their opinions, you have to accept, even anticipate, that not everybody will agree with you.
That being said, I'm a very critical person myself. There are many things about this game that genuinely frustrate me, and at times, I want to be vocal about it. So, why don't I just drop it and leave and let everybody else enjoy it? First of all, I'm not trying to ruin the game for you. I can only speak for myself, but I try to draw a line between being frustrated and criticising the game. I try to be reasonable and explain myself without relying on blunt, polarizing statements. Thus, other people that don't agree with me can try to correct me where exactly I'm wrong. I make mistakes, and in many cases people can see things differently. A good example is, how some people really like the randomized tavern brawls while others dislike them. I am usually one of the others, but when I say why I dislike a randomized tavern brawl, I try to explain why I don't enjoy that particular form of randomness. But I actually enjoyed Valeera's Bag of Spells.
But the reason I criticise the game, why I'm not leaving despite my frustration, is because I still genuinely enjoy the game. I am passionate about it, I care about it, I want to see the game doing well and I want to see it get better. If it would just annoy me, if I would be at a point where I really don't care anymore, I could just drop it and leave. But the truth is, it is kinda important to me. And that is silly, that seems immature, but so what, other people get passionate about their favorite sports team or any other one of their hobbies. To me, it's video games. And if I care about something, I become emotionally invested which makes it impossible for me to just sit there and not say anything at all. It's just "human". Everybody is like this about certain things, even if it's silly and ultimately meaningless.
And of course people will point out that my criticism is pointless, that it's futile to talk about it because I cannot change anything. That is true, but it won't stop me. It might be a waste of time right here, but from the people here, my opinion might pass on to someone else who can pass it on to someone else who eventually is in the position to change something. That might sound naive, but that's as good a reason as any. Also, I get some enjoyment from criticising things. I know that sounds stupid, but to me, it's fun to analyze things and point things out and come up with strong and compelling arguments. That's just me, and at least I like to think it's something I'm good at. And that's hopefully helping others as well. I know I'm not the only one who's not all happy with the game right now, but others might find my line of argument more to the point, and I might be helping them to reflect on what exactly bothers them. You know, how you might read something and say "yes, couldn't have said it any better"? So, it helps if there's someone being able to do just that.
I could go on and on, but my point is, I just won't stop being critical of the game. It does not work for me. I cannot be silent, I don't want to, and there is a point in me not being silent. I truly am sorry if I am one of those people who ruins the game for you. That is not my intention and I will try to keep in mind that I might negatively influence someone. However, I'm me, I'm doing "me", so that's why I'm here.
Please accept that.

Twitchy posted a message on New Card Reveals From Gamescom, New Mechanic: Joust + New Ranked RewardsPosted in: NewsAre there still people who still haven't figured out that the Joust mechanic is more about countering aggro decks than adding more RNG to the game?
We'll finally see all the Huntard face decks disappear once they realize that they get absolutely shit on by control decks that use a lot of Joust cards.

Twitchy posted a message on No Free Packs on TGT Launch, Fel Reaver Bug Fixed, This Weekend in Hearthstone ESportsPosted in: NewsThe 'discount' still means you're paying like 50 dollar for just 50 packs... Thats the same amount you usually pay for A-title games for console/pc like GTA 5 and Skyrim?
Those 50 packs only give you like 5 out of the 27 epic cards, and 2 of the 20 legendaries... So buying all cards for TgT with money would cost you at least 5 to 10 times those 50 dollars... How is a single Hearthstone expansion worth that many times a game like Skyrim...?
Don't get me wrong, they're doing a great job at making new cards. But the real-money-price of packs is just waaaay of the chart. And now they even feel like giving out 3 free packs will lose them too much money...? That just screams money grabbers to me...

Lightspoon posted a message on Blizzard has Added an Additional Grand Prize to the Quest for Packs GiveawayPosted in: NewsWhat an awfull idea this lottery: the rewards will be given to just a small bunch of players while all the others will get absolutly nothing. Imho everyone would appreciate more an event with free packs or gold bonus or free Arena ticket. Also boring mechanics to just complete your daily quests instead of doing something different.
To me it seems such a lazy management.

Does anyone know if there will be an reward for completing every Run with every deck and every Hero Power? That would be tedious but kinda satisfying as well...
