Definitely, however I highly suggest investing the dust for pyroblast if you plan on playing mage archetype decks frequently. Or if you enjoy this deck. There have been times my opponent has been at 8-10 health turn 10 and pyroblast finished  the job.

    Nobody expects the pyroblast! :D

I have killed opponents turn 4, and I have killed opponents turn 15. It all depends on your card draw, how hard you trade face damage, and what deck your opponent is playing. If you get a crazy good opener and your opponent can't answer to that in the first 4 turns you will most likely kill them.

    Mulligan:
    must keeps~
    *Kabal lackey
    *Counterspell
    *Explosive rune
    *Ancient mystery
    *Flamewalker

-Arcane intellect isn't bad, but you should have no issues drawing cards (especially if you utilize Aluneth).
-Flame ward isn't a bad option, I would only stick with it if you run into a lot of zoo/Aggro decks. The same is said for flakmage.

Coin: Coin is extremely advantageous with your kirin tor mage to get a free secret and a 4/3 minion early. Coin after flamewalker is never a bad option either. If you have a kabal lackey in your opening hand please don't coin into a secret. I usually save coin for Archmage combo, because the board is typically cleared mid-game giving you the upper hand. Or coin into a board wipe if you are getting pressured by aggro.

    Mid-game:

The biggest thing about this deck is face damage. If you can plan a step ahead of your opponent and know when not to trade damage, that is key. Swing face as much as possible. Save all your fireballs and pyroblasts for end game finishers. Mid game you will still be playing secrets, the trick is to choose the correct secret for the deck variant you are facing.

Board clears should be no issue with flakmage, flamestrike, flamewalker (which has crazy burst potential so don't play it if you know it will die), and secrets.

Fireballs once again are for face. Only trade using fireball if you know you are going to lose to a creature or if they drop something like zilliax and you don't have a frostbolt. Archmage Antonidas plus your frenzy of secrets generates a lot of fireballs. I used to run Yogg-saron instead of archmage for RNG fun, but it wasn't as effective and sometimes it would cause you to lose.

Ethereal Arcanist is great if you can keep him alive. Iceblock allows his stats to grow exponentially. He can be extremely threatening if you can manage to pull both onto the battlefield and have a steady supply of secrets. Kabal crystal runner is a nice freebie creature.

Aluneth: WARNING- you can throw a game completely if you use Aluneth incorrectly. Aluneth is there if you use up your hand and need a last resort card draw mechanic, or if you can Aluneth into a combo of cheap cards and find fireballs to finish your opponent. Don't play this card if you don't need to, or you will explode from fatigue.

    End game:

Hunter will be your most formidable opponent. I have lost a few games by misplaying a fireball (expecting to kill him after my iceblock gets triggered, and then lose to a flare following fatigue damage... damn Aluneth).

Usually I get my opponents to 10-15 health by turn 7-9. Which can be dealt with pyroblast or fireball. Normally they are so preoccupied by your board and secrets they don't expect the face damage. Just focus on keeping up that pressure.

Yogg-saron is an extremely fun 10 drop, but I find archmage to be way more effective. If you don't have either, I strongly suggest using cloud prince and deal 6 damage to your opponent's face.

The other day I faced a Reno Mage. Not only did they iceblock then drop reno next turn for a full heal, they then filled the board with taunts; I still wiped the board and hit them with a ton of fireballs. This deck is super flexible when it comes to dealing damage. If you set yourself up for success, you will do great.
