You're welcome. There's a faster way to beat him: Majordomo + Treachery. But, this deck is VERY consistent and really grinds it out.

You're right, this deck can be adapted depending on your collections and your preferences. And moreover, Activate the Obelisk decks can defeat several other heroic bosses in BRM (and even in other adventures) with slight adaptations.

If you miss some cards, like the legendaries you can replace them with Cone of Cold, perfect to stall even more the board while waiting for a blizzard or flamestrike and Coldlight Oracle to speed up the mill process and avoid that he reclaims board control or you run out of critical spells

XerrolNanoha posted a message on C'Thun Mage (Upgraded from Budget)Posted in: C'Thun Mage (Upgraded from Budget)I don't feel like antonidas helps us much in dealing with the weaknesses of this deck. I replaced Antonidas for a 2nd flamestrike, both Faceless Summoners with Ethereal Conjurers (they are on curve for discovering flamestrikes or blizzards), and i replaced one each of C'thun's chosen and Disciple of C'thun for Psych-o-trons. In my opinion, the goal should be to take board control and then use Twilight Elder and Cult Sorcerer to build C'thun beyond the battlecry minions, rather than allin commit to building C'thun.
The obstacle of this deck is to survive aggro and zoo, then simply win with mid-late game power using C'thun to 'win more' when we already have card and tempo advantage.

Works! Got it after a few tries.
Requires him to go into fatigue, and molten giants hitting him in the face.

Got it first try, thank you!
2
Third try, but got it! Thanks!

Thanks. Took him to fatigue for the win.

Thanks. Missile Launcher + Venomizer is the MVP.

Replaced Ashmore with Catrina Muerte. Even with twisting nether, did it first try.

Didn't have Archspore Msshi'fn nor Flobbidinous Floop, and replaced them both with 2x Omega Defenders, and got it on my first try.
The taunts, Hadronox, and N'zoth were the MVPs for me.

Easy, thanks.

Got a few quick wins. Thanks!

Played this deck for 23 games from rank 20 through rank 16.
0-2 against Druid
0-2 against Pally
2-1 against Mage
3-1 against Priest
3-1 agianst Rogue
2-0 against Warlock.
4-0 against Shammy
1-1 against Warrior
0-0 against Hunter
65% overall. It definitely was much easier at 20-18. Started slowing as I approached 15.
Edit, for what it's worth, only one game did Anton give me the extra fireball needed to win. Might have to swap him out for something else.
