Winner/Loser.) King of Beasts I'm sure this isn't a surprise to anyone, it's hard to point out what makes this card so unsettling to look at but it's just... ugly. Perhaps the point of view or angle of the picture hurts this card but it's so ugly I imagine people will DE it if they don't plan on running it ever. At least its an awful card so we shouldn't see it often, unless it's certain arena drafts. I must also add, both Kripp and Trump in their separate card reviews noted on the poor quality of this card.

His face is far too flat, and his expression looks as though he's disgusted by something just awful off-screen.  I can't help but wonder if he isn't looking at a picture of himself.

I expect Blizzard is pacing things more for the "logs off after dailies" crowd than the twitch followers. So I wouldn't expect a card release schedule anywhere approaching MTG or the numerous card games that follow in its wake.

I find it pretty hilarious that there are people who do that.

I work a full time job in addition to a slew of other projects that consume the vast majority of my time.  When I have time for recreational activities, it is in the realm of one hour a day.  Since gold is the primary currency for Hearthstone, I prefer the most time-efficient way of gaining that currency.  Usually, upon completing an efficient task that rewards some tangible chunk of currency, I will log off so I can go to sleep and then wake up for work.  Isn't that a knee slapper?

Of course it's random -- as random as computers can be.  Do you really think that Blizzard would waste time and resources developing a weighted random draw for decks?  I mean, really, think about this for a second: anybody who says that the game is not random is pretty much accusing Blizzard of designing and implementing a randomization system that A) weights certain cards to appear more frequently out of a random draw, and B) weights them so subtly that most people would be unable to tell that it is not pure random.  Can anyone please tell me what the point of that would be?  What benefit would there be to using a system more complicated than shuffling a stack and then popping the top off each turn?

Exactly, and I'd also add point (C) And then they didn't tell anyone about this.

Yeah, that too.  If they were going to go through that much trouble, wouldn't it at least make sense to advertise it?  Otherwise there is literally no benefit to the whole thing.

posted a message on Thoughtsteal woes and brags

I played a priest VS priest game not too long ago.  The other priest played, no joke, 8 thoughtsteals throughout the game.  At first it was frustrating to see that kind of card advantage going my opponent's way, but apparently all he was getting was more thoughtsteals.  He also played four or five Auchenai Soulpriests by the time all was said and done.  Definitely the wackiest Hearthstone game I've ever played.
