The XP values for the two Rewards Tracks are the same, except that the new one splits every level in half. So as long as you played past level 50 this expansion, it really doesn't matter.
The only exception is if you're on the last day and you need 1500XP for the next level, and your only mission is 900XP or something, you could log out and wait for the next day. That's about it.
The recent triplicate protection changes make it so that you can obtain most of the expansion on the first day as long as you start saving gold when the expansion is announced. Not to mention that the card you received is so unique it may as well be of Legendary value.

Yeah, I play Wild so that I don't lose 25000 gold's worth of cards every April.
