I really don't think there's been any power creep (though maybe Ghaz'rilla counts). In fact I think a lot of the cards released so far are quite bad and won't see much play in constructed. Obviously compared to some of the cards in the basic set there are cards which are strictly better - Doctor Boom outright has more stats then War Golem for the same mana cost. But we don't care about those cards. They suck, they're objectively underpowered. Compared to those cards which are balanced, GvG is doing great. So far Blizzard has managed to avoid power creep.

Given the fact thatGahz'rilla mechanics are pretty unique and especially hunter hasn't seen anything even remotely close to the card how exactly should it be power creeping? It's a completely new concept just by definition it can be strictly better than a similar card because at that moment we do not have a similar card in this game.

I just think it's effect is so powerful that even though there is no direct comparison it's a little power creepy. And for what it's worth it does have more stats then War Golem, but it seems that Blizzard is outright ignoring the bad basic cards (which is good imo).

Sorry dude but i really think you don't understand what Power Creeping is. Introducing new cards with strong mechanics is completely fine and needed in any ICG in order for it to evolve and progress. Power Creeping would be a card that is strictly better than another already existing one which it is extremely similar to making the other card basically obsolete.

Gahz'rilla isn't just a legendary but a class specific one as well and class specific cards tend to be a bit stronger and besides the fact that the Stats add up to the same value as War Golem stats at the same cost doesn't make it power creeping.

As I understand it Power Creep refers to the general increase of power in cards as more patches are added. It's just much more problematic when it results in a minion that is strictly better than another minion. There can also be cards which are not strictly better than any particular card, but still break the general trend of card balancing. Ghaz'rilla is one such card. Even the class cards generally tend not to have just a big ability at the cost of no stats.
