Why does no one talk about its synergy with Ancestral Spirit? Is Shaman really just that worthless?

Maybe Stranglethorn Tiger or a second Shadow Madness? I suggest the tiger because the stealthed Jungle Panther seems to do a lot of the hard-hitting in my testing, but it may be too slow. If all else fails, just throw in a Wolfrider. (Don't expect a winstreak with this deck.)
