I just used this shell to hit legend. It's control warrior except we replace gala+kronx with silas+ashtongue. Gala and kronx seem redundant since they are meant for slow matchups, but now we have the otk combo to help with that matchup. A lot of times, I actually put in a little bit of chip damage with minions+lackeys so that I didn't need the full 30-35 damage shield slam for the kill. Usually I only need like 20-25 damage except for the slowest matchups (like hardcore control priest). Against fast matchups like hunter or damage based matchups like Soul DH, we just armor up out of range and win through attrition. No need for the combo against those decks.

Hard matchups are the ones where our opponent can generate a bunch of medium-sized threats that can keep our armor somewhat low. Mage used to fit this, but it got nerfed, so now control warrior feels really good :)

I've found that in the Exodia version allows you to finish your quest in one or two turns instead of having to play your spells slowly throughout the game.  Babbling Book is better for a strategy where you fulfill your quest slowly over the whole game.  When you get 4 sorc apprentices down, you can kinda rush through the quest in the same turn with multiple Cabalist Tomes.

With that being said, I might add in a babbling book again.  My version is pretty high variance (you either succeed wildly or crash and burn).  Still being refined
