It's just luck. If you flip a coin enough times (millions of players opening packs), you get heads 13 times in a row (getting a lot of ledgendaries from certain packs)
Miracle. Big swing turns, heavy cycling w/ auctioneer. Doesn't look to win in fatigue, rush down your opponent or get an explosive start. Works to get to the point where it can put several massive threats on the board and gets large swing turns w/ auctioneer, characteristics of miracle decks. It's in the same boat as miracle rouge (heavy cycling and putting big threats like edwin/questing/Giants)
Roughly. I don't think that priest is tier one right now, but easily tier two. Priest does rely on good draws in either dragon, purify, or lyra miracle forms/decks. Tempostorm's meta snapshot shows something similar
This is exactly what a side board is. TCGs like Magic the Gathering all have them, and it is an interesting concept. The only thing would be that you would always face tech cards in every match up. Like if you are paladin, you will get hungry crabbed every single game. It would hurt tier one decks with specific tech cards like secret mage, murloc paladin, and any other deck like that. It would promote more generic tempo midrange decks without specific counters and tech cards.
Spirit singer umbra is probably a little too greedy. It is a dead card against any aggressive deck, and most mid-range decks. Shadow step is an interesting addition to help with jade. It looks like Sherazin would be hard to resummon once, much less twice or more. Maybe add some saps or a second vilespine.
It has been really interesting seeing what everyone thought, and I saw what I expected. Most people (who voted) enjoy the meta, but many of the comments had more than a light seasoning of salt. It's really interesting to see the difference in the players who comment and those who just vote. Over 70% of the votes put the meta as better than average, 52% as good, and 25% said it was the best meta they have played. Yet, in the replies, many expressed discontent over aggressive decks, and what constitutes a 'mid range' deck. Of course, those that reply to forums usually play more seriously and have been playing the same more, so that may influence their opinions. All in all, and interesting result
This is just my opinion, feel free to disagree. I don't mean in anyway to invalidate your grievances, but to just offer another perspective.
Look, other CCGs are not cheaper. In magic, $180 will get you half or less than some of the top decks. Being able to play most of the best decks for $180/year is not a bad deal. Compared to other forms of entertainment, like watching a movie, hearthstone is cheaper by the hour. If you go to a theater, it will cost you at least $6 (not including snacks, drinks or gas). At best the movie is three hours, so you roughly pay about $2 an hour. You can still pay a very good amount of hearthstone with several tier 1 decks for $180 a year. To get better than $2 an hour with $180 a year, you need to play less than 90 hours a year. That's less than two hours a week. Not much.
And even if you say going to a theater is something you don't do that often, comparing buying a triple A video game. I bought Fallout 4 for $60, and the season pass for $30. I played through it all (though I didn't do multiple runs, just one really long one), and spent 150 hours in the game. I had a blast, and am very happy I bought the game. I payed roughly $1.67 an hour to play the game (excluding electricity, a computer, and wifi which you all need for hearthstone anyways). To pay less than $1.67 an hour spending $180 a year, you would need to spend 300 a year playing hearthstone. That's about 6 hours a week, which isn't too much, especially if you are buying packs for every expansion. Its not hard to get your moneys worth out of hearthstone.
To be honest, I don't care what games you play or how you spend your free time. Do what you want. But if you are going to complain about the price of hearthstone, just compare it to other games and modes of entertainment first (don't even think about the price of sporting games or concerts). It can seem a lot when you spend $180 a year, but that isn't that unreasonable when put in perspective. That is: 2 very nice bottles of wine, a very nice romantic dinner, less than a three day music festival pass, less than a third of the cost of most phones, and the price of three other games.
Not much, but you could have traded into medivh with the Savannah, but that's all I could give you. You can't win every match. Or run one of those tech cards to win match ups like this, but suffer tempo and dead(ish) draws in other
So we are a couple months and seasons into the current expansion, Journey to Un'Goro. What are your thoughts so far? Have you enjoyed it? Do you think it is diverse enough? Is quest rouge the Anti-Christ? Personally, I have enjoyed it, with multiple tier one decks from multiple classes. I'll admit that I have only gotten to rank five during this time, but I enjoyed my short climb. I felt that the meta was pretty diverse.
Have you had similar experiences? What are your thoughts on the latest expansion?

Also, I realized that I shouldn't have judged the meta against past meta's, but just if people are enjoying it

Why no second muster for battle. You should run two divine favors instead of hammer of wrath
0
Why should how long you have been playing invalidate your opinion of your enjoyment of the meta?

They show up a lot more in tournaments, as a tech deck against control decks like taunt warrior, discover mage, and control paladin

That would solve it. You're card is well balanced in my opinion and is well designed. Good job
