The most vocal people on this board are hardcore players or wannabe hardcore players. The kind of people who use casual as if it's an insult. Those players will focus on standard, and that's what you see reflected here on the boards.

As said above, tournaments will be in standard format, and with that competitive focus will be on that. But I am certain that wild will be played plenty. Possibly less than standard, but by more than enough people to have a large and varried pool of players, will all kinds of decks to go up against. 

It's not amazing, but with the confirmation that it will not attempt to freeze an already frozen target I'm pretty sure it'll see play. 

It's a cometic reward... if you don't like to play WoW, just don't. Nobody is forcing you to...

I'm wondering... if this card brings out a c'thun, would that count as 'your' c'thun, for the purpose of synergy cards? I'm guessing not, but I'm not sure.

I think you guys are a bit quick on hating this card. It would be great together with quartermaster, and there might be a card in the set that combo's for a similar effect. I do agree it's weak without a decent combo, but there still potential.

Seems to be the tech card te current meta needs. Kezan mystic just wasnt a strong enough counter to mysterious challenger, but I think this'll do the trick.
