I believe the intended way would be that the DS is triggered ONCE when the minion is first damaged.  If the minion returns to full health this could repeat.

Just make cards with cost 3 or less cost (2) more.  Then every deck has an answer.

posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #27 - FINALIST POLL

Since I'm in this one I'll go ahead and give my thoughts on each card.

Mecha-Knight:  Pretty good card.  Could be a win condition for some decks.  Nice and balanced.  4/5

Tavern Brawl:  Appears to just be a joke entry playing on RNG frustration.  Good for a laugh, but, not for a vote.  1/5

40 Dust Pack:  Getting 5 cards and a body for 2 is OP to the extreme.  Even if those are poor cards.  Obviously another joke entry on the frustration of opening up bad packs.  Good for a laugh, not for a vote.  1/5.

Card Pack:  This seems to be a more serious entry, but, shuffling bad cards into your deck is a terrible idea.  Unplayable.  2/5

Combustion Cavalry:  I'm pretty sure I"ve seen this exact card before.  Losing a bit from me on not being original.  Probably OP even with the downside, Get a mechwarper and a couple of these that don't auto explode and you're well on your way to winning on turn 2.  3/5

Drawing Board:  A little better than Card pack as you at least get class spells, but, that doesn't save it.  I do like the art choice though.  3/5

Ogre Knight:  I can see why this is winning.  On the edge of OP but not quite over the line, and playable.  Would be a great addition to about any paladin deck even if the 4 drop is a bit crowded all ready.  5/5

Bazinga:  Another turtle spell a lot like Ice barrier.  I think it's balanced, possibly playable.  I don't really dig the art/naming choices though.  4/5

Ogre's Buckler:  I'll let others decide.

A show for commerers:  I think I've made this card in the past.  if I've done it, it's probably been done quite a few times.  I do like the art/naming/balance pretty well, just gonna ding it a bit for originallity.  4/5

Peacfull (sic) Gnome:  It's a better Ironbeak Owl I think.  Blizz has all ready stated they want to move away from Silence so I think I have to dock it a bit.  3/5

Tuskarr Mage:  I think this card is one of the cooler cards in here.  Fits in beautifully with the Inspire theme.  5/5

Demonic Trick:  Many folks are opposed to Hand destruction on principle.  I'm not one of those people.  But, I think it's a but weak for the cost myself.  I'd probably cost it closer to 2.  3/5

Arcane Butterfly:  I think I've seen this before.  Can't be played.  It's more of a promotional card in my opinion.  1/5

Electrocutioner Leg:  Meh.  I think in Rogue it would have been interesting as a Blade Fury target.  In Warrior I'm struggling to see it get any play.  3/5

Brewmaster's Finest:  Pretty strong card.  Stronger still that you can target your own minions.  I'd say it's pretty balanced and playable.  5/5

Card Pack:  I don't think this is very playable.  8 cost, no immediate effect, not even tempo.  I wouldnt' play it except maybe in Arena.  3/5

Prey on the Weak:  Looks perfectly good to me.  4/5

Devour:  I would have named it, 'swallow whole'.  But, that's just me.  :)  A nice addition to a murloc deck.  4/5.

If I had to choose another card to win besides my own it would be Tuskarr Mage.

    Quote from xSnP jump

    OH! MY! GAWD!!!!

Any of you read the front page tips? Here, read this :

    Aviana

    • Emperor Thaurissan will make Aviana minions cost 0. If Aviana is removed, those minions will go back to their Emperor reduced costs. (Source)

Wow if I read this correctly, on 8 mana count (happening earlier for druids thanks to wild growth/innervate) you win the game cause you just empty your hand full of crazy huge threats! How is this balanced???

So, basically, here's how my game will go : turn 1 the new joust thingy 2-3, turn 2 wild growth, turn 3 innervate thaurrisan GG well played.

I think this only applies if ET was played after her and then the 1 cost minions get reduced to 0 at the end of hte turn.  It's not a scenario that will occur much and if it does well, game was over before that anyway.

Wow, 3 cards made it from my page.

    Stiff competition on page 5.

I'm glad folks like Ogre's Buckler.  I asked for advice on making cards and folks said go for novel and unique things.  That's what I shot for, and it looks like I was rewarded.  Great advice there.

Looks like a pretty bad card to me.

I'm not even sure if it was 'Deathrattle:  Return this to your hand' if that would save it given the stats/cost.

I don't even know how many times this will be the pick in Arena.  Fairly meh even there.

I'm just thinking it'll be played with Leper Gnome, not instead of it.

I can definitely see myself dying many times to this card in the future.

Ugg.  you've got a 3 card dream (that also prevents Wild Growth on turn 2) that turns nightmare when your opp drops a BGH on curve.

That's not much of a plan of attack if you ask me.

I dont find this card that impressive myself.  I guess 3/2 with stealth is nice though.  But, I've never thought Druid had buff cards worth using like a Velens, so I am not sure it's ever going to be anything but a 3/2 with some survivability.  If you just want that Fairy Dragon gets you there and doesn't see much play.

I don't see myself using this card unless they give Beast Druid a reason for being.  (Druid of the Fang isn't enough)

Looks a lot like that Warlock minion that grows when your hero is damaged to me.  I don't think folks are falling over themselves to play that in constructed, so I kinda doubt this does either.

But maybe.  I kinda like the idea of a deck full of minions that have that pseudo taunt halo about them.  Give your opponent too many removal targets to handle.  This would fit in that nicely, not sure there are enough cards to fit that theme yet though.

posted a message on Bard Song. A fun card for Hunter.

It's rather like Tracking.  You are presented with 3 random (non-hunter) spells.  You choose one and a copy of it goes into your hand with it's cost reduced by 3.  The idea here being that Bards are jack of all trades and can use spells from other classes.
