sorry to maybe upset you, I agree with you, altruis is a bad card in Higfhlander, I was reacting to: "Good card no doubt, but I think the mana cost should be reverted to 3 mana" because I think that even with an "nerfed" twin slice it is an very powerful card.

What's interesting is that the cards in the decks look like they were designed for much slower meta. It almost looks like Blizzard was planning 7-10 crystal plays and then really miscalibrated treasures and now games barely last until turn 4. This may also explain why a few decks are dominating all others.

Altruis is something I tested and its just not that good and often can get stuck between high cost cards. Harrison is much better as it gives the deck weapon removal as well as extra draw whereas Altruis in very situational scenarios can do more than 2 damage aoe with its effect. Good card no doubt, but I think the mana cost should be reverted to 3 mana. The twin slice change should allow blizzard to revert Altruis to its released state.

You can also try out Murloc DH. I personally find it fresh as well and usually your opponent doesn't expect it so there is a litlle surprise element ;)

A 3/2 weapon for 3 is vanilla so you get to copy all your totems for 1 extra mana spent. In the very best case scenario you copy your evil totem and your amalgam for 1 mana 3/4 and 0/2. In a more middling scenario you curve this into amalgam for a 1 mana 3/4 or a 1 mana 3/2 weapon. Both of which are still perfectly good on their own.

The worst case is only copying a basic totem and even that is not the worst. Since you're paying an extra mana to summon a copy of a minion that's worth about one mana.

Addendum: This also synergizes with the new Shaman quest where you will be able to double up on this battlecry, which means you will quadruple the number of totems on board.
