posted a message on Get all 3 Login cardbacks (iOS/Android/PC) on PC , no emulator , no additional download

Thanks.  Worked perfectly.  I only play on my Windows desktop, so doing this got me two extra card backs and four classic packs.  Just had to concede a game in each mode for the packs.  Didn't take more than a few minutes.

Trade only?  Yes, you go first.

I'd really like to play a couple Tavern Brawls to complete this quest, since the current Tavern Brawl goes really quickly, RNG-fiesta that it is.

OK, I just remembered about the color of the border.  Have never paid attention to that.  My bad, I guess.

It would be really nice if posts like this simply indicated if the card were a neutral or class card, and indicate the class in the latter case.  If there's no link to look up the card, I always have to go elsewhere to find out this information.

posted a message on What Do I Do When 80g Quest Trading and My Opponent Disappears?

I received the 80g after the game ended.  And I can still play the game with other people.  But I can't challenge him back because it says he has to return to the main menu before I can do that.  Why would it say that if he lost connection?  Sounds like he just left the concluded game onscreen.  It's just odd, and I really have no idea.

posted a message on What Do I Do When 80g Quest Trading and My Opponent Disappears?

I posted an 80g quest trade.  Someone answered, I showed proof, then he challenged me.  We were both playing warrior, and, in the middle of the game, it was obvious I was going to win, and he just quit playing.  He never played a card again, and I won after numerous turns where the rope ran out.

Then, I messaged him and asked what happened.  No reply.  I asked him to cancel the challenge so I could challenge him back.  No reply.  I tried shutting the game down and starting the game again, to see if there was a glitch.  It still says he's playing a friend, and I still can't challenge him back.  I tried messaging him again.  Still no reply.  Still stuck in the mode where I can message him, but not challenge.

I'm concerned that maybe he's just leaving things like this in some childish attempt to punish me orso I can't challenge him back, so maybe he can report me like I was trying to do something wrong.  I don't know how else to explain this.  I'm an adult, and I just like to play the game without childish BS.  I'm a middle-aged guy.  The last thing I need to do is scam someone out of in-game gold.

This is silly, and a waste of my time.  But I'm not sure what to do.  I don't feel the need to report him, since he hasn't scammed me out of anything.  But I don't want any more BS down the line either.  I'm way too old for this shit.

posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2

Just played against a Mage.  He played Jaina, got some Water Elementals on board, then played Alanna.  I was playing Shaman... played an Electra, then a Volcano, which should have cleared the board... but Volcano only went off once.  This is the second time this has happened to me.

And, of course, my opponent, instead of being a decent human being and maybe having a little compassion, played some extra cards, played a Meteor on my minions, used his hero power, before going to kill me.

This game is so full of fucking sociopathic, micropenile coscksuckers that it just makes me fucking sick.  People shouldn't be bad losers, never mind something as nauseating as bad winners.  Now that it's fucking fashionable to be shit, rather than being a decent person, I sometimes think the human race is fucking doomed.

And for everyone who might think that I shouldn't get upset about this... Life is about a lot more than a silly little game, and how you treat other people is at the top of that list.  Fuck every little sociopath who gains pleasure from making other people unhappy.

Kappa Pride, BM, hah hah a troll... before the internet these type of people were called what they are... fucking sadists and assholes.

This is a salt thread... so there you go.  I love the game, but couldn't be more disgusted by some of the people I play.  Though, yes, I've met some very nice people.  But there's no way this many assholes should exist in one place.

posted a message on Question about the 80g Quest Proof Challenge

When we had the quest to play a friend five times for 100g each game, a friend asked me to concede five games in a row so he could complete the quest quickly.  I quit on the first turn of each game, and he got a win each time.  That was a quest played against a friend, and it obviously didn't go to turn 15, and it's largely the reason why I was concerned about this, because the win was registered without any real play.  I was wondering if this would happen if someone accepted my challenge proof as well.

posted a message on Question about the 80g Quest Proof Challenge

Thanks for the replies.  That makes sense... if I don't pick a deck, then I suppose the game won't start and they won't get the gold.  I hope.  Or would they get it for just accepting and my not picking a deck will be registered as a concede?  Anyway, that what I was concerned about since I don't know too much about the process.  I know if I chose a deck and then immediately conceded they would get the win and the quest reward.  I'm assuming that, from what I've been told, I won't be at risk if I don't pick a deck.  Hopefully.  Not that getting scammed would be the end of the world, but it's the principle I guess.  Not to mention that a new expansion probably brings a few new scammers out of the woodwork, I would think, with people eager for gold.

posted a message on Question about the 80g Quest Proof Challenge

I've been posting my 80g quests in the appropriate thread for some time now, and, until recently, I've just gotten challenged by the player responding, and then challenged them in return.  Last couple of times, though, I've been asked to offer a proof challenge, and I see that this is recommended in the guidelines at the beginning of the thread.

I really don't usually challenge people apart from doing the 80g quest, so I'm unclear on something.  It appears that it's suggested that I first challenge the person who answered my post, then they decline my challenge, then they challenge me back and we play the first match.  What confuses me, though, is what if they accept my proof challenge?  Couldn't they then scam me by just accepting my proof challenge if they don't have the quest?

Like I said, I don't challenge people.  What am I missing?  Can I send a proof challenge and then cancel it before they accept, to show proof and not get scammed?  What if they accept immediately?  Wouldn't they try to accept immediately, if they are trying to scam?

If I am a honest person who actually has the quest, aren't I the one then taking the risk?  Which doesn't make sense.  Or, like I said, am I missing something?  I have another 80g quest now, so it's not like I want to experiment by challenging someone on my friend list, since I would lose the trade opportunity if I screw up (and, yes, I'm trying to maximize my gold for the release tomorrow).

They'll probably be giving a free legendary for logging in when the expansion goes live, and this is what I'll probably get.  Please, no...
