The problem after a few months is just that nothing will change. Also no balance. A tier 1 deck will forever be tier 1.
They will add Naix and GvG and do balance if they see the mode is well loved. They basically said that they will wait and see how the mode go before planning for more
It is pointless to have a Control battle vs controlock at the moment, esp after we know all new expasion card. Warrior and Priest while have some good cards, doesnt have any sort of solid wincondition other than Cthun and fatigue, which both destroy easy by by Tickakus
Tikakus is the reason Control is not attractive anymore.
Next rotation will be the same.Tikatus for another year, and Warlock even got another auto win card in Control matchup thats buffed Jarraxus. I really want to stay away from aggro but I do not have any choice.
Tickatus is in like 4% of decks right now. I do think he'll become a problem next rotation, especially with upgraded jaraxxus running around, but I hardly see him as being the only reason control isn't popular currently.
He has low winrate because most of the deck are his hard counter which is aggro. The moment the meta shift toward control he will be 40% of the decks
And why ppl play aggro? Other than fast laddering, they do not want tikakus to spoil their fun.

I'm somewhat worried about Warrior's ability to be viable in the opening of Forged in the Barrens. Enrage and Big are losing 50-90% of the support that made those decks work, Bomb Face is just gone, and Control is losing Shield Block. It's possible that something N'zoth-y or Menagerie focused might work and get some support, but it seems shaky, at best.
I also don't really want to play OTK Control Warrior. I like classic Control Warrior, where I've got some big finishers, but something feels extremely boring about Silas/ETC OTK decks. I just don't enjoy playing them as much. Is that basically all that's left for Warrior post rotation?
You like Big Bomb and you worried about classic control warrior position? Trouble Maker, Rattlegore, Prime, new Alex, new Ysera, Grommash. The amount of big boys you can put in your deck is ridiculous. Shieldmaiden replace Shieldblock is actually a good thing for the playstye, because you have a fine body to pressure before dropping big boys in control matchup.
With all their anti aggro tools intact, CW already in good shape before any card reveals!
People play Classic do not expect the meta changes every 3 months, of course. They want the oldschool Hearthstone experience again , that what make us loved the game. The meta is solved ofcourse, but the important thing is how good was it ? IMHO it was great. Miracle Rogue, Handlock, Zoolock, Freeze Mage , Control Warrior , Midrange Hunter, Face Hunter were the top decks, and they keep each other in check. There was no supreme deck like today meta.
I think they will add Naix and GvG eventually , since they both released in 2014 anyway and add a lot of more options for weaker class in vanilla like Paladin, Priest and Shaman.
Lol at this deck. You got only 2 cantrips for card draw, and you even have 4 extra card from Cthun so you have like minus 2 card draw for you deck. Good luck vs aggro with this deck , with that amount of high drop. My greedy Tripple Old gods can draw freaking 11 cards draw and still couldnt keep up with these aggro deck sometimes, because with Cthun you have like 3 dead draw in aggro matchup.
I recommend you to drop new Yshaarj package, Yshaarj just no good in Warrior because the devs printed terrible corrupted cards for the class. And in this aggro meta you never live long enough to play full power Clown most of the time.
Bladeflurry was nerfed to 4 even when Rogue have way harder way to buff its attack compare to Demon Hunter. So Blade dance to 3 mana is a no brainer for me
Step 1: Play Nzoth late game, then the Priest will spent his turn to clear board
Step 2: the board is empty now. Alex his face
Step 3: The Priest has to do 2 thing now in order not to lose: Kill Alex, and put enough minions on board which total hp+ his health > 30. If he fails to do this, C'Thun and you win.

Saurfang follow by Trouble maker then Alex/Ysera/Rattlegore is strong late game pressure for Warrior

Warrior need Grommash as a finisher. Control Warrior not gonna win the long value battle vs Priest, Warlock or even Druid.
We still have cruel taskmaster in the coreset, which innerage on stick. The set will have more, since Frenzy is a new keyword so it will ne supported.
And Grom is actuallly good, because I can see the new Ysera in Control Warrior. Nighmare and engrage grom is 14-16 burst without weapon hit.

At least Shaman is the only class can deal 60 dmg with C'thun. So control quest shaman have a clear win con

In this expansion, there is a clear path:
