If you play Imprisoned Gan'arg one and some other tribal minion on 2, if the 2-drop sticks, you can play this on turn 3. Currently there isn't a great option for turn 2. Something like Shotbot or Murgur Murgurgl would be perfect but Warrior can't play those. Maybe Hench-clan Hogstead???????
I think there's nothing stopping you from running both really. And if you're going deep, this is likely a little better with N'zoth because it gives you more board control.
I just dunno how a N'zoth menagerie deck wins the game.
Having play many cards game, reprint good old cards are common practice in all of them. HS is not an exception. But, actually unlike you, I am impressed by Team5. They surely learnt their lesson well. Why I say so ? Because although they reprint 4 of the Old Gods, unlike the old ones, they leave us a LOT of ways to build a deck around it. For example, with the old C'thun, we must included a boring C'thun package of 8-10 cards in every deck. But the new C'thun, only 1 card, make us a lot of room to improvise our style , either combo to get C'thun as fast as possible for OTK turn, or only use C'thun as a late wincondition. The same can be said with 3 other gods, we can be creative in deck building as we like now.

Nah midrange dont want to play a 5 mana 3/5. This is a draw engine for a control warrior deck have Nzoth as one wincondition. The other wincondtion is Alextrasza and C'thun for the Priest matchup. This card may draw Alextrasza which also helps
Bad card. Faldorei was a meme and never good enough in the past. So in this powercreep era this card is not good either. Control decks laugh at your 3/3 while aggro can blow your face before you even draw 1. The only time this card is good when somehow you lucky to draw 3 doll in a row next turn.
Bonkers? Most classes have either ways to deal with big minions or they can kill you before this dude can be impactful.

Doesnt matter. Control Hunter never be tier 1 deck, because the class have no heal. I see the only class that interest in this is Druid, which have no problem playing a 10 mana card. And is a class that have weakest boardclear/hard removals
Aside its role in recent chessy OTK decks, I think any slow control deck can include 2 Doomsayer and a Silas now. Doomsayer always an exellent anti aggro card while Silas can act as a 7 mana mind control on its own. And in late game we can combine them together for a 9 mana fullboard clear.
It will be a very strong win condition, IF you survive until that time. I said IF, becuase every one know Shaman slow drawing. There def will be a DH, Druid, Warrior, Rogue deck which abused their draw system to draw and 1 shot you with Cthun first. So, if you play Control Quest Shammy this expansion, tech in 2 Hecklebot. The moment they put their Cthun in their deck, you can pull that out and win the game.
