I've bitched about this on these forums for months. It is literally THE most frustrating part of the game for me. There are so many games where you don't even get to face one (or more) of your opponents because youre dead on 9-10 gold because you played all of the top people 3-4 games in a row. It makes no sense. It's completely unfair and makes for a horrid game experience. There is enough RNG in rolling for minions every turn, and then they go ahead and make the matchmaking completely stupid random as well.

Another change I'd like to see is less randomness to the time of your turns. I don't get why certain turns it seems like you have and hour worth of time and other turns it goes by in the blink of an eye. Especially in late game when you're trying to transition to a different build or pull some type of Brann/Khadgar/whatever strategy and of course this turn only gives you like 30 secs, and of course you cant get all your battlecries and triples etc. But for some reason on 7 gold, when 90% of the time you're leveling your tavern and buying 1 minion...this turn lasts an eternity. Makes no sense. Implement a set time for each turn. Or give more time as each turn of the game goes on. 

 

 The turn countdown starts from when the last combat phase is finished. If you have the longest combat phase you will have the shortest tavern phase and visa versa.

I finally managed to pull off a double golden Hoggarr game with Reno Jackson. Even with closing the game and restarting to skip the combat phase it feels like you have nowhere near enough time to buy and buff your pirates each turn. This build must be impossible to play on mobile - sorry guys!

Do you feel like there should be more time in between turns? Or do you think the timer is already too long? Maybe a time extension request option? I'm not sure. For this build to reach it's full potential more time is definitely needed. However, with the ability to theoretically get your Salty Looters infinite stats it is tricky to decide what to do.

You're right! That's a big part of playing Finley.

I think I may be one of the people underestimating the power of Brann. I'll try him out a few more times and see if I can do better.

I considered putting Flurgl in Tier B. I think Flurgl divides a lot of opinion. 

TBH I didn't know where to rank Finley so I dropped him in the middle :)

I really perform well with Kragg by skipping Tier 4 generally.

AFK is as bad as they have been imo. Alex is only playable when no murlocs but maybe Avoid Tier is correct.

With Brann I find it hard to fit a hero power in the early game. You're usually taking damage against strong early game heroes. Murlocs are the best strategy with Brann (if you want 1st) and you usually need a turn where you level to 5 knowing you are going to take some damage. I find this a lot harder to do if you take a lot in the early game. However, I haven't tried Brann with a menagerie build yet. He may perform better in that way.

I thought I would create a Tier List to help show which heroes I'm most likely to choose and which I will never choose.

Feel free to tell me what you agree/disagree with and how you think I did overall.

Hi guys!

One of the things that I think separate the 10k+ players from the rest is being able to transition to a winning build in the late game.

I'm not saying this is easy to do or something that you can pull off every game but it is a good tool to have in your arsenal. You have to be aware of what builds your opponents are going for. If you think your current build can scale enough and beat the rest of the lobby then it's fine to keep on looking for those buffs. However, should an opportunity to find a game-winning composition present itself you should have the presence of mind to seize it. Bob doesn't always give you the tools to victory so when he does you must take it.

I see a lot of people trying to grind their way to 10k+ without ever trying to transition when such an opportunity is there. If you're trying to increase your MMR then coming 1st place often is a big deal. 

This video is of my first game of my stream today (that's my excuse for being incapable of counting to 4 haha). I had a very strong dragon composition but I decided to pick up a Brann a couple of turns before the video starts (the full game is available in my VODs) just in case I needed to try and transition to beat the 2 other players in the lobby who were going murlocs. Bob presented me with the tools I needed and so it was an easy decision to let go of my Nadina and dragons to try and get that 1st place.

Goldgrubber is my favourite card of this patch. With Eudora you can make him a monster so quickly. Also his animation when growing is so fun. Especially when you have 2 of them :)

Tough stream today but we only lost 49 MMR on the day. We'll take it and move on to the next.
