Thank you, Kenny! :) That is much appreciated. I love whoever wrote the lines, and especially whoever did the voice acting. Again, thank you for replying.

Yeah, that's part of why I asked, since I'm a fan of the "Jobberwocky" poem, and I recognized a line that reminded me of it, plus, of course, the name itself. He started off the match saying something like "Who walks on pox'd rocks?", and obviously it left an impression, lol, and alas not part of the Jobberwocky poem, or really, gets me anything off a Google search, except an amusing fan made Louis Carrole Hearthstone card. I'm sure something at some point will eventually come up the longer people have to play it. Thanks for the replies.

posted a message on Shudderwock's Rhymes in Monster Hunt

Some might see this as a ridiculous request/question, but does anyone know if and where I could locate a collection of the rhymes Shudderwock recites while playing against him in the Monster Hunt solo mode? I've not played MH a lot, but I just fought him, and I got a kick out of his lines. I realize it's a relatively new release, but I was wondering if there was any source someone could point me to in regards to all the rhymes he has.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if it seems like a stupid question.

Look this is always nice to get more cards, but I'm just falling behind and barely have any from the last expansion, and now another 120+ cards? It's a collector's card game, how is anyone suppose to reasonably collect all the cards? The Expansion to Adventure back and fourth worked fine to address this.

I actually really love the RNG Brawls like the previous Encounter at the Crossroads. I love a deck of random cards you have to try to find a way to win with it. I really enjoy those, but the added Party Crasher card in this version? No, I really can't dig it. It seems like a way to full the board with minions you can't use, making your hand basically useless, I don't know why they're here, this brawl is so much better without them. I was looking forward to this one, I guess I'll need to wait another six months for the version I like :/

I like the card pack though, since I won't be pre-ordering them, so thanks for that, I guess.

I'll have to agree with everyone else. There is no bloody way I'd ever pay to enter this brawl, and furthermore, it makes me kind of sad, as I've introduced a friend to this game, and we were having fun playing last weeks brawl against each other. Her second brawl and it's something like this? Come on. I kind of like the concept, but 1000 gold/ten dollars? Just no.

I really agree with this. I'm trying to collect all the Hearthstone cards, and while I haven't been here since Beta, I have been with Hearthstone for a year, and I've been focusing on getting Expert (Classic) packs. I was planning, after getting the Epics and Legendaries I've yet to possess, to then move on to GvG, but now instead of packs, where I could get lucky and maybe get a Legendary or Epic, now I'll have to craft every single card. Let alone, legendaries aside, you can have two of every card, it is flat out ridiculous to expect people to be able to craft all of them. It's absurd! Hell, by the time, in 4 years, I'm done collecting all the GvG cards, it'll take another 4 to get the TGT cards, as they'll also be off the market by then. Blizzard has got to change this plan. They added more deck slots. They're helping out new players (though I don't think they realize the pitfalls of their plans in that regard). We should be happy, but this outrage about the decks makes me think, as a whole, this move was extremely ill-advised.

Thank you for this post. As a collector of cards good and bad, the loss of being able to buy anything but "Standard Expert" packs is a huge blow to me.

People can say whatever they want, but in my opinion there is no reason why packs can't be bought anymore.

I agree. This is all I ask for. I really don't think it's too much to want. And, I mean, more deck slots! This should be ecstatic news for the whole community, but this thing with the card packs just bothers me.

You're looking at it from the wrong perspective I feel. If you don't have almost all the cards now (it sounds like you don't if you don't have Dr. Boom), then you will never have all the cards unless you start shelling out loads of cash, which you can do right now anyway (or later on with the new packs). I've been playing practically everyday since closed beta and I'm still missing a lot of legendaries. With every new set that comes out, I get further and further behind from a complete collection, it will be the same for you. You can just buy TGT or the new pack that comes out and I guarantee you'll have just as much (if not a higher chance) to get a legendary you don't have. Buying a specific pack to target a specific legendary always seemed like a bad idea in the first place, the odds of that happening are so low that you're better off buying a set that you don't have too many rares or epics in.
Well, I've been focusing on getting all the Expert (Classic) cards first. I certainly want Dr. Boom, but I'm also under no real incentive to hurry. And actually, before this announced change, I was very content to do quests, win games, Arena, and tavern Brawl to get packs, sometimes having good things in them, and using the extra cards as dust. Yes, it would take a while, but completely doable. It is still doable under this new change, but crafting everything will make it take a lot longer. I understand the need to fix the game for newer players. I understand that, and my only major problem with this is not being able to buy packs from any expansion desired, even with "non-standard" cards. I really don't think retaining that method of obtaining cards is too much to ask for.
As for TGT, I did buy the... was it 50 pack for 50$? I forget the amount, and I got only one Legendary out of it. I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong; I was able to get around 69% of the new cards released. Sometimes you get lucky (I got two Legendary's back to back last month), and before TGT, I didn't get a single Legendary in a pack.
I will have to think about your final point. My idea has been, "Well, I have a chance to get the cards I don't possess, and even if I don't, I'll have cards that will help build up my dust." Which does work, as I started out with a lot of missing rares, and I now have every Expert (Classic) rare, and have gotten 10 Epics I was missing, plus 10 Legendary's from card-packs. Again, my buying packs isn't to target a specific Legendary; I agree that is not a good way to go about it. It's to get any Legendary, or just plain card I don't possess. But you are right about that point.
I just don't think they need to take away the ability to buy packs. That seems to needlessly limit your ability to get cards. I just plain don't understand that. They could mark it as "Non-standard", or something.

I personally don't give a shit, because most of the time when you open packs you don't get the cards that you are looking for anyway. Also, you can still craft the cards you need, which is a better way of obtaining cards instead of trying to get lucky with packs or whatever.

Except inherently crafting every card takes longer than getting lucky. It's not like us people who open packs don't also craft. We had the chance to get something good in a pask, and then, if we had the dust, could then craft something.  This move completely takes away the joy of opening packs for good things you don't have, and means the only way to catch up is to craft every single card, even Common's you could possess if you could open just five more expansion packs.
Plus, I'll point out the only thing I'm looking for when opening a pack is a card I don't possess. I'm trying to collect all the cards, not just the good cards. This is a disaster for card collectors in this game.

posted a message on The worst part is the gloating.

As one of the people who doesn't yet have a Dr. Boom (and might not have one for another year if I'll need to craft it and can't open it with a pack), I found the card a bit annoying, but that doesn't mean it should be made completely irrelevant, along with so many other cards people put trouble into crafting. While people can disagree about if the changes were overall good or bad, this does indeed not help community cohesion.

    1.  They add packs only viable for "Wild" into a subsection of the store.  For example when the new expansion releases the store would look exactly the same as it does now expect the GvG packs have been replaced with the new expansion.  Then below those packs would be a menu that opens that reads something like "Wild Packs" and you could select GvG and eventually TGT etc.  Maybe the first time you click on it a popup appears reminding you the cards can only be used in Wild.

    2.  They could simply add a checkbox somewhere in the client that enables older packs to be purchased.  That way a new player won't make a mistake, but players that have been around a long time like us could enable that option.  They could enable it in a similar way to the first suggestion I posed where the checkbox it located in the store and clicking on it gives a notification the first time etc....

These two suggestions are fine, and they are all I would ask for in regards to this.
