posted a message on Is Death's Bite better than Fool's Bane in Midrange Warrior?

It might be worth just swapping out a whirlwind for Death's Bite. It depends on how important you think Whirlwind is against aggro. In any case, I think it is better than Fool's Bane personally.

On another note, Sludge Belcher is almost objectively better than Direhorn Hatchling and isn't that expensive to craft. Piloted Shredder is another card that is just good in most wild decks that is worth at least investigating, and is not a big dust mistake if it doesn't fit.

posted a message on Current Decks vs. Un'Goro decks (Wild)
    Quote from Velerios >>

I think just about every wild deck could benefit from a few Un'Goro cards. Un'Goro is the entire reason the new Hall of Fame cards got sent to Wild; the synergy is primed for wildly OP combos that the meta chasers in Standard would immediately flock to, essentially stagnating the game until the next expansion.

Nope, they want to get rid of these cards because they are good basic-cards. So if players have less playable cards in the classic-set they are forced to buy more packs (and yes, i know you get dust, but this is more of an long-term issue for them). Ragnaros/Sylvanas would find always space in some standard-deck, and they rather want people buy new ones. Also in tournaments naturally they also want people showing off the new cards so tha people buy them.  It's all about $$$ sadly!
Its only all about money if you try hard to make it about money, which you have. Blizzard is giving you the dust back. You can literally craft the same amount of stuff as replacement. There is no problem here.
On topic, I think this expansion will make wild interesting but I think that mostly, the old decks will still come on top.

posted a message on Blizzard doesn't care about high skill players
    Quote from SleepTurtle >>

only retard or newbie believe this games need a lot of skill. Only 10% skill in this games. Don't tell me control vs control =skill. Yes, some extend of skill compare to aggro but outcome of the games decide by RNG. ie:good kazakus RNG, cabal tome into cabal tome, draw leeroy combo in turn 10 have exact lethal when.opponent left 20hp etc.

You talk like 10% skill is nothing. Thats the difference between a 40 and 60 percent winrate.

posted a message on People with all golden decks make more misplays than any other player.

Who cares? I've been F2P since I started playing ages ago and have no problem with excessive gold cards or anything. If anything they are just nice to look at while the opponent takes their turn. Besides, they are funding the game I am freeloading on anyway.

posted a message on An average player reaches Legend - the story and some tips

Actually, while I'm here, thanks to most of the people in this thread for having a proper discussion that I can enjoy reading :)

Apologies for the above post of mine being a bit off topic, and also for double posting as I can't find the edit button on the mobile site.

    Any average player reaches legend.

Here the tl?dr version: netdeck an easy tier 1 deck, such as aggro shaman or dragon / pirate warrior. Have patience.

Welcome to the "elite". Btw, huge disrespect to all the legend cardback players, making huge missplays and playing an overpowered class. Always amuses me how the (netdecked) "deck" guides most people to legend, not the process behind it.

/inb4 "salt" - Iam playing reno mage, i have absolutely no problem with the aggro players. keep coming..

I have a legend cardback, played hard and earnt it; and you're telling me I have to play a original control deck and play it perfectly to garner some ignorant prick such as yourself's respect?
    Fuck off
I haven't played seriously since about a year ago when I hit legend. All I want to do is sit and eat my lunch while half-heartedly completing my quests. If I happen to be using the legend card back while doing this, why should you care?

posted a message on Sideboard cards in Hearthstone?

Midrange would receive a huge boost, since they could alter their curve more effectively than other archetypes. Facing an aggro class? Put in mistress of mixtures etc. Facing control? Put in a bunch of big cards that capitalize on the already positive board state you should have. Shaman would be more of a absolute nightmare than it used to be.

posted a message on Pretty sad all of the midshaman players invading Wild...
    Quote from Toymachine >>

Had 15-0 vs Secret Paladin and 12-0 if I recall correctly vs Mid Hunter which are the two most common decks after Shaman in Wild on high ranks.

This is interesting ... I've been playing mid hunter in wild and am 7-2 against shaman. I seems if I can match them early (which I can usually), then overload starts to take its toll and I pull ahead. Freezing trap is detrimental to the game for the shaman on pretty much anything other a trogg or spirit wolf. Shaman has little comeback methods that don't involve overload as well so I will often run over them. Vice-versa though for the hunter, it has pretty much no comeback method so the two loses were very heavy I must say. Sure hex on highmane is annoying but its often too late.
Obviously my sample is quite small, but 7-2 to the hunter is a stark contrast to your 12-0 to the shaman. Maybe player skill is the key variable here (wow imagine that lol) or my hunter deck is more solid early than the ones you are facing.
