Anyone have any advice on how I can improve this series? I can't figure out why today has such a better reception than the first 7 days.

To make the grand finals have 16 cards, I was thinking of doing the 9 class winners and 7 neutral winners.
I'll do a poll with 1/7 of the neutrals each day, and only the top pick will move onto the grand finals.
Does this sound the most fun and fair? The other option is to have 2 rounds for neutrals like I've done with the classes, and advance 5 from each of the 7 prelims, to a neutral finals, whereby the top 7 of the 35 move onto the grand finals.
