seems pretty bad, it's a weak card on curve and at the same time the payoff for holding it until you get the spellburst just seems like too little of a payoff.

Evil_B posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2Posted in: General DiscussionThe new ladder system is P2W, it turns out that all my opponents had their entire deck full of golden cards, they had the perfect hand while they gave me bad top decks, in each game they gave me two copies of the same card in my initial hand .
They are some clowns who have the full gold deck, surely they got a lot of dust for the pre-purchases they bought with their parents' credit cards.
The F2P players side us by giving us weighed top decks on purpose. Go to the ****** Blizzard with your rich daddy, spoiled kid from Activision system.
Team 5, for when a nerf to Quest mage, varieties of warlock, Razakus priest? you don't know how to fix things, you don't want to give those cards a nerf because they are surely your favorite decks. Developers lick boots from Activision. There is karma, I will wait for the cries of strawberry daddy's children when their zero skill decks nerfen him.
If you pay real money you are temporarily removed from the matchmaking system. You will most likely have a short win streak causing you to believe that it was money well spent. Then you will go back into the same "everyone needs to be at a 50% win rate" system. At which time they hope you will again spend real money. Don't fall for it. Never spend real money on this game.

mangarosa posted a message on Is Hearthstone worth getting back into?Posted in: General DiscussionHonestly: NO.
Why: the game is just a random shitfest of broken/toxic decks all around, its basically 1% skill and 99% luck. There are so many high roll plays that just dont make sense and blizzard is slow af and bad with balancing.
If you wanna try "cool" decks be prepared to lose a lot and get frustrated af.
Now, if you wanna play to win just go with the most broken shit (there will always be at least one) and you are good to go, but is that fun at all?
Its like when im playing galakrond rogue i just feel like im a cheater lmao... some decks are just too high above the others that its not even fun even when you win.
Not saying that i will never play again but thank god i have dumped this stupid game (i used to play everyday and was really enthusiastic about it, but all the nonsense just killed it for me).
Note: this is just my personal opinion, i myself wouldnt waste my time on it, but you should decide that for your self... if you find the game FUN even with that so many flaws then go ahead and play, there is a new expansion right around the corner with lots of new stuff to check out, but i doubt the "core flaws" of the game will EVER change.

Roadie posted a message on Is Hearthstone worth getting back into?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from HoraceWalpol >>Probably the best time to get back into Hearthstone for years. You'll get a free deck after completing some 'welcome back' missions (pro tip: take the mage or rogue one), next week the new demon hunter class unlocks with everyone getting 30 class cards as well as a complete DH deck, and the yearly rotation is just around the corner, so there won't be as many cards you're missing.
Also, ranked is getting a makeover that will give out more rewards, and daily quests have gotten way better: no more 40g quests, majority of quests are 60g, and you have to do less to complete them. Oh, and the new duplicate protection rule which means that you won't get duplicates before you have all cards of that rarity (so, you won't get the same common ten times and the same bad epic over and over).
Ehhhh - that all sounds enticing but did you forget to mention that the game has removed basically all strategy & thought and replaced it with extreme high rolls, instant win cards, endless discovery, endless card draw, endless game saving "answers" being pulled out of ones butthole, unbeatable Galakrond decks(at least for a few classes), and more amazingly hilarious BS than you ever thought possible? Of course, you can be a wuss and abuse a broken deck and grind your way up the ladder but theres no fun in that at all. No skill required to do this though so have at it. For a real "treat", try Wild where its Pure cancer mode with Waygate/Secret Mage or some variation of unlimted resurrect Priest. Its more fun to nail your testacles to the table than play against those decks.
Sure - come back if ya like but do NOT spend a nickel on this slot machine. Stay 100% free of charge and accept that 99.999999954% of games are decided by things way out of your control. Once you accept that then its not too bad. Enjoy. Just stating the facts. :)

SlipperyBum posted a message on Priest is really good atmPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from TyrantrumRex >>The Ressurect mechanic is disappearing, so I'm happy. Combo Priest is dead, and they've made PW: Shield worthless, and taken away the ability to do spell face damage, but we'll see where it goes.
Where it goes is further down the dumpster, along with the other classes that are not rogue, hunter or demon hunter.

agreed. OP, be happy that you were able to quit this game and spend your time and money on something else. I stopped playing for 2 months now and I definitely won't come back to this trash rng clown fiesta game for a while.

People who just advise to not complain should just refrain from replying to this thread, if they don't have anything productive to say anyway. I agree with the OP, this xpac looks really lame compared to the boomsday project, saviors of uldum and even DoD. They made demon hunter, hunter and rogue super strong (surprise) but all other classes idk..just seem really slow and not able to swing turns. Of course, I might be completely wrong and the meta will turn out differently, but I definitely won't pre-order.The presentation of the new content was completely lackluster, too. Hopefully the August set will be better.

We'll see about that in a month ;)

Extremely inconsistent. It's not even going to clear enemy minions with Divine Shield

Priest complete garbage, even DoD cards were better

where are the priest and warrior cards? aaargh so impatient

Why's everyone hating? I'm looking forward to this.
