This is absolutely not true because if you don't care, you'll die and die fast, at least at high levels. A single misplayed card will cost you the game
But I agree that it is less interactive than other decks. But most combo decks are.
How do you play Brann with 4 oracles. Brann = 3 mana, 2x shadowstepped Oracle with Valeera = 2 mana, 2x normal Oracle = 6 mana. 11 mana total. Explain plz
I play odd aggro mage with secretkeepers, 2x counterspell and chief inspector. About 70% winrate against hunters (absolute majority are spell hunters) at ranks 9-11
Turn 1 secretkeeper is a problem for hunter. If u kirin tor + counterspell before turn 5 they have very tough time. Next turn you develop the board and deal with the wolves easily. Playing around secrets is important and Chief inspector is king
Overall your goal is to be aggressive and kill a hunter before zuljin turn. I find myself out of resources more often than not if they zuljin because of extra 5 armor and the lack of direct damage spells
After a few unsuccessful attempts, I decided to try the rogue shrine that steals cards thinking it wss just a fun meme and I actually rolled through everything without any difficulties - it was THAT easy. After taking the treasure that lowers the cost of all cards in hand by 2 as shrine's deathrattle you literally swim in all kinds of cheap cards including opponent's OP ones (and break their combos as well). It was super easy.

I have no idea about that. What's it about?

Try odd aggro mage. It is very good and consistent. I don't play much, like 20 games a season, but it is enough to keep me reliably at level 5

Highmane is not a mech and judging from the wording it will have no effect on non-mechs
