posted a message on Heroic Brawliseum (Wild) is This Week's Tavern Brawl

This is the most attention they've paid to Wild in ages, can't believe they gave us our own Brawliseum again. Hopefully they use the statistics from this Brawl to see how busted Quest Mage and other shit is in this format.

I seriously doubt anybody will be stupid enough to pull out Big Priest. Shudder and Mecha'thun are free wins for me so if that turns out to be the top 2 decks (guaranteed it wouldn't) I would buy a run. You're going to see the most cracked shit in Wild like Time Warp or like you said Pillager Rogue because it can high roll quick (gets countered by Quest Mage Ice Block BTW)

If your deck can cheese the most cracked shit usually, buy a run. Watch streamers play it first though.

Oh and Thief Priest is horse ass in comparison to fast OTK and Open the Waygate lol

posted a message on What are you using to climb in Wild this month?

Started from D4 and hit Legend 11-4 with Even Shaman. Usually smacks every degenerate Quest Mage and Big Priest (Hysteria is their only defense)

Reached D3 with Renolock (100% winrate vs Shudderwock and Mecha'thun), but sometimes I couldn't snipe both parrots vs Quest Mage so I switched to Even Shaman. Maybe it's time to pull out the good ol Void Contract.

If you're queuing into too many Reno Druids, play Even Warlock. Their one Poison Seeds is their only line of early defense, along with Zephrys. Think I'm 4-0 against them.

im dying from cringe when i see "this nerf/buffs killed duels or killed wild" ... Who cares ? %99.9 plays standart.

And this is why Standard only players whine about nerfs every other week. There's only 4-5 playable decks at a time, do you not get bored lmfao

Since wild is so diverse, isn't it? I've dabbled in wild once in a while, mostly to play some decks of earlier rotations I liked, and all I faced were Big Priests, Quest Mages, Handlocks, Shudderwocks and some combo decks from Druids and Warlocks. I get bored of that stuff after 5 games and return to standard where at least I don't need to craft cards from 4 years ago to be competitive.
It's baffling that packs from wild sell for the same amount of gold/money as those from standard, as the actual value of the cards due to powercreep is way less. If they would sell wild cards much cheaper I might enjoy building a collection and trying some stuff out, but like this, no way.

Your matchups in Wild, like literally any card game, will usually be whatever the "meta" is because players don't have an ounce of creativity to create their own deck. I've hit Legend a bunch and have had a lot of success with off-meta decks, something that is nearly impossible in Standard where the "meta" decks are usually the only good decks around. It's so insanely easy to get bored playing Standard because your options are so limited, whereas you have dozens of decks you can succeed with in Wild as long you know how to build decks. (unfortunately many people can't)

Also, building a Wild collection literally isn't that hard. A load of Legendaries and Epics used in Wild are cards from the last 3 years, and if you've been playing the game, you probably have most of them. I also crafted most of the Legendaries in the Standard decks I would play so the switch wasn't any different. There's a shit ton of garbage in old packs mixed in with a couple great cards, but literally just craft them and buy mostly Standard packs, because that's where a lot of key cards are anyways.

Also, what's the difference between crafting a Standard legendary and one from 4 years ago? You feel worse or something?

Mages playing time warp over and over again is too much. Most time i get them down to 2-4 HP (and they have lots of tools to survive and take no or less damage for rounds) before they start their time warps and i can sit there and watch time plaing as much rounds as needed to beat me down from 30 to 0 HP. And they need some rounds, because their whole deck depends on that one card to be played over and over again.
Same with these big priests, cheating out insane powerful minions like Neptulon or Blood of G'huun so early, you cannot get rid of them. And even if you can - they have tons of gimmicks to revive them, so you have to fight the same minions over and over again.

Got tired of fighting that shit so I pulled out my Even Shaman and went 11-4 to Legend. Aggro works quite well in Wild because of how slow most of your matchups are.

When only four decks are being played, 75% is only three decks getting murdered.

     Was kinda my point there

Holy shit they fucking murdered 75% of the decks people played in Duels. Everything else aside, why did Mycelium get hit again? Guff got banned, Twig got banned, and the card discovered 1 instead of 2. New duels balance guy is out of his fucking mind. Anyways, nothing for Wild but they did make Wild decks that did nothing wrong worse for the sake of Standard, that's great.

They're pretty damn fun. I quit BGs since they removed Buddies and this is close enough to that again. Some rewards are just much worse than other though, it's coin-flippy

And no, Baron should stay. Beasts as a whole (and sometimes Mech too) rely on the guy. Mechs got the whole Grease Bot sweatshop now but Beasts don't have an alternative. He also has to stay on your board (and alive) for him to even work, other comps don't really have the same issue.

The aggro deck has no late game. Blow their 2 boards and you win. The late game deck drops to aggro decks. You are not facing both decks at the same time.

According to Hearthpwn Druid is a Tier 0 broken  unbeatable class with 20 mana and no weaknesses

At this point just start running Altar of Fire lmfao

posted a message on Standard Balance Changes Coming Soon - Might Include Neutral Cards!

Anyways, another dust payday on the way. Them nerfing neutral cards only means three things, Brann, Kael'thas, or Denathrius. The issue with Denathrius is that his design space is so tight that he either becomes complete ass or gets a whole rework. If he's sent to Endlessly Infuse: (2) he probably won't even be played by Druid. If Guff does get hit this time around, I hope he gets reverted when he's rotated. Tired of good cards and decks in Wild going in the mud because of Standard.

Better yet, make two fucking versions of cards: one Standard, one Wild. Any format using Wild cards would use the Wild version of said card. I know they don't buff anything for Wild, but that could also be a thing if that's implemented. No, it wouldn't be confusing for newer players because Wild isn't even intended for them. (and Classic version of cards are already a thing. This isn't anything new.)

    >>People always play whatever HSreplay tells them to play.

This. A deck will get a minor nerf and thousands of people drop it suddenly, making it flop in HSReplay and nobody hears about it again even though the deck is still fine. Sometimes I wonder how ladder would look like if no site or content creator published deck lists online. >80% of people in Legend wouldn't even be there.
