You can trade this against face hunter minions as much as you want.. and if you can have a knife juggler on the board too, that's even better.

As far as I'm concerned some of you people just haven't got a clue how lucky you are getting. That's why I tried to get one of you on my fucking client to see what it's like playing when you don't get golden draws every fucking game, but of course not a single person had the balls to take that challenge up for fear of finding out how wrong they were.

That tempo mage deck is absolutely fucking garbage though vs this ladder (not that there is any meta ranks 9-20 anyway, that's half the problem). One of you fucking "experts" needs to get on my client and show me how that deck is supposed to work when your opening hand isn't wyrm, sorcerer, waker, missiles.... of wait you can't show me how it works because it doesn't. I absolutely guarantee you won't win, you'll tumble down the ranks then make excuses to save face.

No-one here really has any advice though and that speaks volumes for how you are climbing the ladder, it's just a run of luck.  Actual advice about the way the game works on a real strategic level is non-existent here, and any talk of how the game is meant to be played on a deeper level other than chuck it out and hope isn't to be found either. No-one seems to have any ideas. I definitely think there are a sizable portion of people here who've hit legend and really do just get incredibly lucky with their mediocre play.

Responses like "hur dur learn to play" really only reinforce the validity of that view.

I dunno. no-one is even listening anymore, and no-one seems to have anything helpful to say that's actually going to make a difference in a measurable way. People want to blame my play without knowing anything about it. .... the ranks mean utterly nothing in terms of how skillfully you play the game. I play as well as many people here. Probably better than quite a few as well.

Lol my god. It's like a comedic novel.

I read some of this stuff and I do think it's funny. It is ENTIRELY false that play are uniform throughout the ladder. You need to evaluate your decision making and your plays with a more analytical mind. Like someone suggested earlier, watch a legend player and pause it before he makes his play. I bet you don't even guess it right half the time... while the simple truth is anyone with a winrate over 50% can hit legend, most people won't not because of the pure win rate. Most people won't hit legend because they get nervous/frustrated/angry and start tilting once they regress ranks. Falling back in rank is GOING to happen. To everyone. This is coming from a Legend player too, I have fallen from rank 1 with 5 stars back to rank 4 before, and I consider this natural variance. You can get some really bad games in a row, quite a few times in a row too. But not always in a row. If you are consistently finding yourself  making no progress... I'm sorry but your plays are sub standard. Are you watching the enemy mulligans in the beginning of the game? If they threw away their entire hand, you can know they likely don't have an ideal opening hand. If they kept their entire hand, it's safe to assume they have a perfect starter, and adjust your plays accordingly. This comes with having knowledge of what you are facing, keep track with hearthtracker or something. The game is hard, but there are ways to make it easier. And this goes without saying, but if you are multi-tasking while you play, you have no right to get mad about not making progress. Do master chess players text and talk on the phone while they play? Exactly.

I watch tons of HS. I pick exactly the same plays, this is not a complex CCG, that's kinda the problem.

Watching the mulligans makes fuck all difference in reality. It tells you exactly what you said. That they either had shit or they didn't. In the event that half the hand went, the kept half will be played in the next two turns. In the event that they kept it all, you know roughly what it is with moderate precision. The bottom line is that it makes almost no difference because you have limited to no choices on your play for turn 2 or 3. So you can either play into what you know they have, or play nothing.... in which case you lose.

That's all I need to hear to know you will never hit legend.

When it's finally nerfed Patron players will go back to their rank 15s where they belong. Enjoy your Legend with it, probably won't hit again anytime soon. (yes I hate Patron with a passion, it's nothing personal <3).

Tha'ts  true i see Patron like a bug in-game ,almost all the time that i've won of these cancer's they can only give the Berseker damage, and nothing else, that's a  demonstration of how ridiculous is this deck.
Of course it need nerf, Infinite damage and infinte free minions are bullshit IMO
Besides the only thing he does in the entire game s draw cards till got Thaurissan and combo, pretty smart...

Well.. a little word of advice. Don't leave a full board for him to build his berserker up.

    Hi PaN2dA,

Shadowflame is an interesting decision. I have not yet experimented with it, but I can understand the pros and cons. I find myself finishing an opponent with Hellfire rather often, and for the remainder of my climb will probably keep it as is. I will test out the shadowflame possibilities next season. As for the Void Terror, I find it more useful to use the Dire Wolf on account of the only deathrattles in the deck are the voidcaller and the egg, unlike other zoo decks that have Sylv or creepers, plus the void often can become a hulking 7+ and vulnerable to BGH, and Wolf gives me much more burst when it comes down to finding options to lethal the opponent. I have tested with sea giant, but since my deck lacks creepers, I find it rare that I am able to get him out on the board at a time when he can be helpful. Have you read my edit about adding in sac pac? I think that change has improved my win percentage, specifically against face hunter, which I am winning at a 70% right now :)

Well, you need to focus on removing their minions while not tapping yourself too low. Stealing their traps are huge so it's good you have a Kezan, but focus more on board domination and you should be fine. Just watch out for them sending your blood fury to the museum :)

How does zoo beat handlock? Play around their molten giants, don't set them at 10 hp or lower and trade when you can to avoid a game ending shadowflame. Works well for me anyways.

Missed the part about the argent squire, I'm warming up more to it, but still think the 3 damage from the imp is nice.
