Chantry posted a message on Hearthstone Collegiate National Championship Finals - Results, DecklistsPosted in: NewsSome data, for those that are interested:
Teams ranked by performance, showing total dust cost
Winner
1. Rutgers – 68980
Finals
2. Montreal - 64720
Semi-Finals (no particular order)
3/4. Shawnee - 55126
3/4. San Antonio – 47060
Quarter Finals (no particular order)
Berkeley – 54420
Riverside – 57840
Colorado – 64380
North Carolina – 53780
Teams Ranked by Total Dust Cost

2. Montreal - 64720
3. Colorado – 64380

5. Shawnee - 55126
6. Berkeley – 54420
7. North Carolina – 53780
8. San Antonio – 47060
I will not draw any specific conclusions from the details above, but it is interesting to note that first and second place in the tournament went to the first and second highest total dust costs for the decks. It begs the question as to whether more expensive decks are doing better in general (higher win %), and if so, by how much?
One last data point... Highest single deck cost for each team. Note a three way tie for third place:
1. Rutgers – 12840
2. North Carolina – 12260
3. Montreal - 11960
3. Riverside – 11960
3. Shawnee - 11960
6. Colorado – 10760
7. Berkeley – 9320
8. San Antonio – 7420
Cheers!

GloryHoley posted a message on Gentle MegasaurPosted in: Gentle MegasaurThere is nothing "gentle" about playing cancer, especially when it progresses into the later stages of the game. Blizzard literately gave cancer decks the ability to adept to control decks so they R even more cancerous then ever B4. Great Mechcanic Blizzard... thanks for another tool to counter control decks which will all be extinct thanks to these kinds of cards in the new expansion!

Poohead posted a message on Gentle MegasaurPosted in: Gentle Megasaur4/5 for 4 isn't bear minimum it's the best you can do for 4, any stats higher are conditional. So already it's okay by itself. Now if murloc decks are good enough remains to be seen because this by itself won't be enough with anyfin rotating.
But this doesn't compete with warleader since it's 4 mana and many adapt buffs are situationally much better or as good as +2/+1, and adapts are attached permanen unlike warleaders aura. So play both. EZ

I think you need to git gud.

Pretty much no deck ever should run 2 copies of Bloodlust. If you draw both it's clunky as fuck and it's useless when behind.

2800 gold gives you all the adventures cards. 28 packs gives you jack shit lol. You would have to open hundreds of packs to have every card even if you dust additional copies and craft the ones you're missing. Add to that the fact that you get no single-player experience or card back unless you pre-order (and even then adventures have another card back for heroic).

Elementals, the new curvestone/DragonPriest.

Because otherwise it wouldn't be busted enough with Finja!

Wrong, it makes no sense to play around board clears if the card pool has 3 board clears for 500 cards.
You can't play around anything right now in Arena because there are so many cards that it's unlikely for your opponent to have most of the ones you'd play around. The smaller the card pool the more skill involved.
Kripp says that there's no reason to play around anything because there are too many cards in the pool and he has the highest win rate in Arena of all players as shown by data released yesterday by Blizzard so he is clearly right.
