Hearthpwn

For the first time in 3 years, I took a 2 week break from Hearthstone since I was pretty addicted to it but also making me a very angry person. When I broke my Chroma keyboard 2 weeks ago after an infuriating game, I thought maybe it was time to give it a rest for a bit.

I didn't think I would make it this long, but here we go, 2 weeks and I feel amazing!  I have been way more productive and feel better overall. I told myself I would give myself 2 weeks, and then I would go back, but now I think I should see if I can completely quit. I still like coming here to read the salt thread to remind me of why I took a break in the first place lol.

 Token and Handronax Druid decks aren't too much of a problem I think. The big problem right now is any type of combo Druid. So far I have only had luck with warlock using 2x dirty rat, problem is it almost always loses to big Priest.   I have had luck using Big Priest against combo Druids, but only if I get Barnes on T4, otherwise they will not feel pressure and they can draw combo fairly quick. 

As expected, not a Druid in sight now. 11 games and not a single Druid lol. 

Thanks for all this information. Certainly getting some ideas on what to do with my current decks and I will certainly try the Exodia Mage as that one seems kinda promising. Plus the satisfaction of knocking down 35 armor sounds worth it lol. 

I have horrible luck with Deathlords, but Dirty Rat seems good I will have to add one or 2 to my decks. Just sucks if I play against Big Priest.

Hi everyone. I am at my wits end here and hope you all can help. I have been on this site a long while and don't make a habit to complain about stuff, so don't think this is yet another salt thread even though I may give off that vibe.  Been playing since 6 months after release of the game and have never encountered such a more difficult season ever. I'm stuck at rank 5 with no luck in moving up. My biggest problem right now? Druid. All combo variations of druid.  It seems that they have the answer to EVERYTHING you throw at them. 

Use Big Priest? Here's Poison Seeds and let me stall the game just enough for my combo if you don't draw Barnes right away. 

Spell/Secret Mage? ARMOR ARMOR ARMOR ARMOR ARMOR. 

Paladin? Swipe, Swipe, taunt taunt, spreading plague, stall just long enough for a combo. 

Odd Shaman? - LOL good luck. 

Warlock? - too slow, they can stall just enough for a combo. 

Seriously how do you deal with this?! They have the answer for everything I do.

Maybe im garbage at this game, but I have yet to beat a Pirate Warrior with this deck. I would think this would be very good, but they run me down by turn 4.

Auto loss vs. Pirate Warrior so far. Still a fun deck when it works. 

Ok, so I have to share my success with this deck. Back in the GvG days, I was consistently reaching rank 5 or better. Then I gradually started getting worse and worse. Up until now, I have not even broken Rank 10 and it has been very depressing. I decided to give this deck  a go, and in 2 days went from 20 to Rank 9!!!  That may not seem like much to some, but I have been struggling so much and no matter what I did I could not get to rank 10 anymore.  

Sure, this deck has it's weaknesses,  Priest wrecks it if they have their AOE, and Warrior....is Warrior.  Other than that, it is somewhat likely you will get a good hand most of the time. Once you get going, if the opponent has not reacted by turn 3, its gonna be GG.  Absolutely loving this!

This is very good against the current Patron Warrior that's dominating ladder right now.

Before today, i woulve passed this off as another one of "those threads". But right now i agree with all u said. #salt

Matchmaking always putting me against the perfect counter to any deck i play...
